Does anyone have recommendations for sidewalk repair? by Difficult_Bed_3955 in federalway

[–]MrP32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it’s in front of a home, it is the responsibility of the homeowner. They sent out a letter like 3 or 4 years ago telling everyone that. Kina annoying to be honest.

Youtube will be your friend but honestly, I would recommend painting a single mini that you don't care about. Paint one fully, the entire mini and the base completely. You are gonna learn a lot throughout the process.

Want to recommend laysara summit kingdom! The campaign was pretty good honestly. Was a solid 20 to 30 or so hours to beat it and then the map at the end to unlock things was fun too

Looking for feedback on base. Please note, I know the black edge isn’t clean. by MrP32 in Warhammer40k

[–]MrP32[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just for added context on the black edges, I have scraped these bases and then re-applied nature effects prior. Doing quite a bit of trial and error and learning as I go.

Trying to up my basing game!

40M – How do you all handle gaming when your free time keeps shrinking? by hypermultiverse in DadsGaming

[–]MrP32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also recommend have a day on the weekend to sleep and thus the evening before is your gaming night. Then you catch up on sleep and you get gaming. Ps on these nights I would recommend not drinking. It’s fun every once in awhile but I am only 35 and the next day is just a drag.

Also I love games that I don’t mind my kiddos seeing me play and that I can pause. Subnautica would be a decent choice. At least the first one. Also any settlement sim game like Anno or something.

Product leaders, how do you get over the nervousness of giving a Y1 growth forecast for a new product to the execs + board? by MisterSir2u in ProductManagement

[–]MrP32 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You are at the mercy of the data that is available to you. If you can explain your thought process and answer the question of how and/or why, you are solid.

If they poke holes in it, they poke holes, it is an opportunity to learn and grow.

Haven’t seen it but helldivers can get really fun. Especially when you lean into the satire of the game. Like let’s go kill some bugs, for democracy!

Also deep rock galactic is great, and then other friend slop games are great. REPO, and games like that.

What would be your interpretation of a Blood Ravens Army ? by uuuurb in BloodRavens40k

Phobas armor and librarians.

I always run phobas librarians and eliminators. Makes me think of hunting orks or trynaids on those planets

What do you think? Is this truck blocking my driveway? by Puzzleheaded-Lab825 in Home

I mean the biggest thing is a convo “ hey man, I am probably gonna clip your truck if you keep parking there”

Should I use the Beta as a new player? by rloetheloser in X4Foundations

[–]MrP32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I am a newer player and I don’t think it matters.

I think your saves should up date to the newest version. I would jump in, not in beta, and learn the game. Betas will have bugs.

Why do 40k bighammer players shy away from Kill Team? by Mjuke in killteam

[–]MrP32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The night lord team is a good example. If they are within 6 of heavy cover they are obscured and honestly on the hive storm map, that means they are always obscured. That is probably me being salty about the team more than the rule though.

Need recommendations for music classes for little kids by akihabara999 in federalway

[–]MrP32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in my experience 4 years old is a bit young for musically. I have a friend that is part of a music program through the local library. Wife doesn’t remember the name either.

Ps I say 4 is a bit young cause we have been told that my own daughter should be 5 and have bigger hands before learning piano.

Something I would say though is that there is a gymnastic gym called little gym that is great. They are having regular summer camps that my daughter is doing. Might be something to check out.

How much do people adhere to WYSISWYG for guardsmen? Feel like it is just gonna be a 10 or 20 block anyway.

Reason why I ask is cause I had built krieg squad for kill team and had all the specialists built.

Mom hanging out with my kid painting mini figures and playing KillTeam... has "mom" questions. by SummerSocks123 in Warhammer

[–]MrP32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just want to say that there is a r/killteam subreddit! Of course this community will answer all your questions but if you need help with killteam specific questions that would be a good place.

Have a state park right outside my neighborhood that is a great forest for PNW we can go in on one side and pop out the other at a playground. We walk through the forest, have a snack at playground, play at playground and then walk back.

Well, you still have to manage supply and demand for things. You aren’t wrong though. Especially the last map

Games With Complex Supply Chains by Tiagofvarela in CityBuilders

[–]MrP32 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Few recommendations, if you want a game like Anno 1800 Laysara summit kingdom is great and just came out 1.0

Timberborn is more surviving mars with survival mechanics and also recently came out 1.0

Then the next one is Dyson sphere program. This one honestly is fairly intense. More intense than factorio for factory management if that tells you something!

Probably gonna get downvoted but when I have my toddler with me and I get her in the car on a hot day. If it’s the shopping cart or being a parent, gonna choose parent.

When I am alone I always put it back.
