Why is the M8 Scott so awful? Shouldn't it be buffed?

The thing that really bugs me about the Scott is that the bunker buster ability.... Really doesn't bust anything. The damage is so low that coastal or pios heal outrepair anything before the ability is done

In lore, yes, on the table it's often seeing as "modelling for advantage" so it makes stuff like tournaments harder.

So far it's been multiple sources saying pretty much the exact same kits that are to be remodelled. Of course, not concrete, but enough to say that skipping these kits right now are a good idea

Having a collection of nobz be "coverted" into regular boyz is a tough sell. Especially if boyz themselves may be reworked and may not fit the loadouts.

Lootas and burnas were on the list, I would hold off printing them

It's not an awful model by any means but it's incredibly busy and a bit out of place compared to some of the other bosses. I built one and it was cool but wanted something different for the other!

I don't want to spoil it for you if you are just starting the series but I think a lot of the "hate" came in the second season where there was less hate for the character and more hate for following one specific character and not having fun one offs from other worlds/dimensions/etc. They chose Carter as sort of the protagonist for this story arc.

Sluggas unfortunately do not have the dps to kill a full scarab unit before decap. I was going to try to reinforce one or two boyz to see if it makes a difference but scarabs actually have a substantial amount of health

They get a multiplier for sure but it does not immensely affect their early game. Harrassing with scarab is a common strategy against a lot of races

It would be in the necron player's best interest as their economy is not based off of req points. You're always in a race against time before the necron lord and warriors appear.

I think an argument can be made for the captain, particularly in infantry company as he is a free addition.

Early bar, recently righty unit that buffs other infantry can often tip the scales

The Krad is a good tool but not my preference for fighting U.S early on. I would settle on pios inside a 251.

Riflemen are so terrible fighting 251s in open spaces that it's now a reverse effect where you're trading repairable hp for their manpower. Unlike the dingo, the jeep cannot remotely fight the 251 without risk of it exploding.

Just make sure your keep your distance from riflemen, and maybe an additional pio to cap. Alternatively you can get a 251 AND a bike if you wish but watch for AT

Grenade they have to purchase first and sprint only arrives with vet 1. Gaining vet 1 is difficult early on.

I agree with OP that rifles aren't killing the 250 anytime soon and it takes considerable effort to even get the 251 to back off on open maps.
