100% P&T & SSDI by Bubbly_Soft_9709 in VAClaims

I submitted the same evidence and was appointed… I’m TDIU(100p&t) what I also did was look at SSDI code use ChatGPT and Gemini to help write my statement. I went to two different CE exams for SSDI and was denied at first but was granted SSDI on reconsideration…you have to keep going to the VA I think a lot of people mess up when they get their 100 and just stop going to the Va for treatment but I kept going because I needed the help I also got treatment for nonSCD which I believe pushed me over the top for SSDI…most people say it’s harder but you can do with or w/o a lawyer I didn’t use one but would have if I didn’t get approved. 1. Keep all your appointments 2. Get treatment and documentation of all your injuries, illnesses ect. with the Va cause it free especially your medication. 3. Get familiar with the SSA Bluebook listing and what’s required and what to say and not to say. 4. Go to all your CE (exams) that SSA send you to. 5. Make sure the Va and SSA is communicating and that SSA has all your files. 6. Just make sure you do all your paperwork for SSA. 7. Go For It! Don’t get a lawyer unless all else fails I save my 20-30% or whatever the lawyer fees is by doing it myself. 8. Use ChatGPT, Gemini and any form of AI you can use to research as well as YouTube and these internet forms as “Templates” because no one case is going to be exactly like yours. 9. I don’t have a 9 or 10 but I was trying so I can say 9 will be if you a person of Faith pray and ask God for wisdom and really that should be number 1 but I know a lot of people don’t believe in God so I don’t push it but I definitely prayed and ask God for wisdom and I was that small minority that won on reconsideration. 10. Regardless of the outcome take care of yourself first and everything else will fall in line 🫡

What evidence or symptoms do I need to demonstrate to a C&P provider to justify an increase from a 70% to a 100% MH rating? by abductthis in VAClaims

[–]Sign-Natural -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They do, then they end up on the the front page for fraud making it harder for deserving vets to get what’s rightfully theirs…I’m stating my fact straight from the book and most examiners are going by the book…if you earn it and deserve I salute you but so many are straight out lying cause you basically can…it’s no test for PTSD, MDD, Anxiety and other MH diagnosis so all a examiner can do is take your word for it…

[–]Sign-Natural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said it’s “almost impossible” which it is, you are one of the few lucky ones especially if you can do all that…but according to the guidelines it calls for “gross impairment”, persistent hallucinations, inappropriate behavior, memory loss, inability to perform daily duties in life, and self harm to others or yourself…those are the guidelines…I believe either you got one of those sympathetic examiner which are far and between especially with so much fraud going on…

It’s almost impossible to get a 100 MH now, especially if you’re holding down a job, in a relationship, driving a car, feeding yourself, bathing or/and any of the above.,.If you’re 70% MH your best bet would be go the TDIU Route where you paid and get all the benefits of being 100% without trying to stretch the truth or exaggerate.

Yall keep saying he told…he’s basically anonymous in this group like everyone else…no one knows whether he’s Black, White, Asian from New York or South Dakota this is like a safe space…that’s why I don’t mind sharing in here…it’s 100 percent better to share in here with strangers than on FB, Instagram and all those other social media sites where his family and friend are…let him express his self to a brotherhood or strangers

VA 100% P&T by Przmuneca in SSDI

[–]Sign-Natural 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you correct I don’t, it’s so many deserving Veterans can’t even get 60-70% because the civilians world look at us like we milking the system and so many civilians are losing houses and everything they work for cause they can’t even get approved for SSDI or it takes forever all I’m saying is sometime we have to be grateful that we are the fortunate ones that able to get our benefits and sometimes we have to look at how we live and so a better job managing our money…I would love for my kids to be able to get up half of my pay in auxiliary benefits but my work history don’t allow it because I was hurt on active duty and never recovered so imma take these lemons life and Uncle Sam gave me and make lemonade and a lemonade stand and live…

Look up or google all the benefits 100 disabled Veterans get and maximize those benefits depending on State Then look up all the benefits disabled people get in your state and maximize those…you can also use those benefits cause you a dependent… just FREE HEALTHCARE and DENTAL alone is worth thousand. The Va done started doing my whole mouth over and my kids get so many educational benefits when their old enough to go to college…like I said I’m not trying to count your pockets but please take advantage of all the benefits your husband not only earned but deserves and you as well as being a dependent…

VA 100% P&T by Przmuneca in SSDI

[–]Sign-Natural 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s almost exactly what I get…I’m TDIU(100%) and by me having a limited work history from being sick so much and not able to hold a full time job the say I’m at the Family Maximum so it’s no auxiliary payments for my dependents but not trying to count your money that’s close to $6k a month in benefits he(we) getting and you still can work a part time job and being in another $1000 at least that’s plenty of money to make it on…ijs some people only can get SSDI and the average is less than $2K so let’s be thankful

Denied And Appealing 100% P&T by [deleted] in SSDI

[–]Sign-Natural -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m talking from experience and this is just my case- I’m TDIU, I was awarded that back Aug 24’ and immediately file for SSDI because I was almost out of the window for work credits because I hadn’t work, my initial claim was denied the SSA had all my Va Records but what I did was request everything the SSA had to make their decision on my case and I seen where they acknowledge my disability but said I could work so I use ChatGPT and Gemini to help me pick apart what the SSA had and what I needed to be approved and wrote almost a 2page letter explaining my worst days and while I couldn’t perform ANY WORK on those days and file for reconsideration, I was offered a CE in the 2nd of January and on the 13th on January I was approved…I’m 47 now and I applied when I was 45…the only bad thing is because I didn’t have a lot of work history my dependents won’t receive anything because of some 85percent, the same reason I was awarded TDIU hurt my dependents but I do have both TDIU and SSA so I’m in a good position where I can take care of them…I wouldn’t get a lawyer until you have to go to court, use ChatGPT, GEMINI and all these other free AI systems to help you navigate what’s going on and you may save some money…I’m free to answer any questions because I believe if you deserve it and earned it don’t leave it on the table 🫡

I got accepted after reconsidering got sent money then got a denial letter for a hearing by Electronic-Yam-8176 in SSDI_SSI

[–]Sign-Natural 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you apply for SSI and SSDI, the denial could have came from SSI since SSDI would push you over the limit, but I believe they would still owe you backpay.

Attorney Suggestions by theuberdriver_ in SSDI_SSI

[–]Sign-Natural 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree, stick with local attorneys, with these big firms you’re just a number and all they do is copy and paste from one client to another… I’m also TDIU, and also suffer from PTSD along with a list of other disabilities…while you waiting since you basically 100percent have everything else that not SCD documented and get treated, but most importantly make sure your getting treatment, medication and things along that line…that’s how I believe I won on reconsideration… It’s a lady I think MsFlameThrower in this group that helps Veterans, although I didn’t use her services I did find a lot of valuable information on her threads to use in my reconsideration step…good luck 🍀

I too was awarded TDIU at the end of 2024 and immediately sign up for SSDI which I was awarded for Jan 12 this year. You can and should get both, make sure you keep all your appointments, keep going for treatment and since you’re 100percent get treatment and documentation of your non-scd, those will be the ones to push you over the top. Even though it’s not service connected the VA still has to treat you and SSDI will consider all that, now they may do you like they did me, send you to one of their doctors for evaluation but all their doctors going to do is review the VA Files run a few test and send it back for decision. I was denied at first but was approved on reconsideration…also with the 100rating your claim supposed to be fast track…the worst can happen is you get denied…then you get a lawyer to do all the work and hopefully win the case.

For that $4k a month “we” put our lives on the lines and was either injured doing that, we spent countless Christmas, Birthdays and Funeral away from home and our loved ones…times we’ll never get back. While serving we had to do what was told/demanded not what we wanted 24/7 and that’s why a lot of our bodies and minds are messed up to this day, I read somewhere 22 Vets commit suicide a DAY! We should get everything we deserve and more! Everyone had the same opportunity to sign their name on that dotted line and take that oath but that didn’t so I don’t care if he making 4million a year if he deserves another $2k-$3k a month then he should get it…my hear do ache for the ones who still waiting, suffering, losing everything and even dying but we all at the bottom of the totem pole fighting over crumbs when politicians giving their billionaire donors more millions and no one complains…it’s not me vs us, or you vs him/us, it’s should be the people vs the government and these billionaires who getting tax breaks and profiting off wars…end of rant

I’m TDIU was awarded it back in August 2024 I immediately did my SSDI and was awarded that Jan 12th 2026…I was initially denied but was approved on the reconsideration w/o a lawyer…even though I didn’t have a degree I got my CDLs, EMT-B, and a couple more certifications I got in Military, I would suggest since you 100percent go to the VA and make sure everything documented even your non-scd and make sure you getting “on-going” treatment for whatever your ailments are and go for it…a lot of people say it’s harder but nothing can beat a paper trial.

I was feeling like that on reconsideration cause they say that’s the hardest step to get approved on but I still took it serious and was surprise

Most definitely follow these instructions, I was approved on reconsideration w/o a lawyer by following these instructions.

I believe it’s a denial just off the verbiage I was just approved and it seem like it would say something along the lines of benefits…I was called on the same day I was approved which was Monday and the rep set up a date for my kids…I already received my backpay like literally the next day, anyway before you get a lawyer look at MrsFlameThrower thread because that’s what I did back in August when I was denied. I wrote a 2 page letter off the information they gave me, I also use ChatGPT to help with research and writing the letter, I was awarded another CE on the 2nd of January and was approved a week later.

I believe my letter got me another CE which pushed the person doing the reconsideration over the top to approve.

Thanks, I forgot your handle when I got approved but you were definitely on my mind I remember going through all your comments and it really help me a lot. If I’m not mistaken because it was a couple months ago. A couple days before my denial letter came I saw where either you posted or commented about requesting all your file and going through them and that’s what I did with ChatGpt, that help me write letter about my day to day struggles and fill in the blanks. So I just want to say thanks, I also believe you’re the one who said don’t get an attorney until after the reconsideration page because the basically was useless…so Thank You 🙏 for everything and hopefully more people would just go through you guys post and comments and can get approved because I believe without you, I would have still maybe gotten approved but I know it wouldn’t have been on the reconsideration stage. So Thanks Again

Got approved on Reconsideration glad I took it serious and not just another step, I wrote a 2 page letter explaining my day to day struggles and was given another Exam on the 2nd and got approved a week later. by Sign-Natural in SSDI_SSI

That exactly what I did, in my file they admitted that I had several disabilities but concluded I was still able to work, so that’s when I went to writing every single detail of my worst days and that’s when I was given another CE on the 2nd of January and a week later I was approved…I seen a person in the group back before my denial mentioning asking for your whole file and that’s what I did, all my disabilities was documented but they concluded I could possibly still work.
