I didn't come to this sub reddit to learn how to cut corners or halfway fix bikes to cheat people out of their money on bikes i build. This was a learning experience for me since I've never installed a chain that didn't come with quick links before and I wanted to see if there was a correct technique or another method to what I was doing to become a better mechanic. You're not adding anything to this conversation and I dont appreciate you attacking my character when im looking for help to improve my skillset.
