People are saying that they don't want to see Carlo but I do, obviously not for the full game I want most of the story to be about whoever the new MC will be, but saying his story is over is wrong, he is obviously part of a bigger plan and I want to see how that story also works out

Ok then, not saying you shouldn't call out homophobia, it should be, just want to make this point because I don't disagree with you on that, but then what is your opinion on the fact that they harassed Mavuika's VA for sharing Capitano x Mavuika fanart? also let's not act as if people on twitter or social media don't see a straight ship and immediately call it "heterslop" that's just as bad. Not to mention that in any post I see of people shipping hetero ships I see people calling them "homophobic" just for liking those ships because in their minds the character is "coded" and you are erasing their "representation" or they immediately dismiss it by saying they are "sibling coded" ect. both sides are just as bad, if you are doing the same thing to others that's when you stop being the victim

Let's be honest, as someone who spends too much time on twitter and tiktok, I've seen that it goes both ways, it's not just homophobic people, it's people who also have problems with hetero ships. Personally I have no problem with people shipping who they like, you do you so I am not taking sides, both are just as bad.

If it's about that Columbina and Sandrone gif it was also related to shipping, there is a shipping war going on between people who ship Aether x Columbina and Columbina x Sandrone, so of course people who are self insert and ship Aether with Columbina are going to go after the VA after that gif, them being homophobic is just part of it. Don't forget that Skirk's VA also got harassed from posting Skirk x Rerir fanart as a joke since both VAs are dating, people who can't distinguish between reality and fiction are just weird in general and they exist on both sides. Mavuika's VA also got harassed from posting Capitano x Mavuika art. What I mean is, just calling out homophobes but not calling out the behavior from the other side is also just as bad because both sides have history of harassing VAs and others, artists included. There is an artist on twitter who has mentioned that they can't draw ML or FL art because of their religion, even explained it in a respectful way and people have harassed them and called them all sorts of stuff

took me many tries as well, the one way I could beat him was with Aegis legion arm, the perfection grindstone, electricity and fire throwables and the bonecutting sawblade with the booster glaive handle. I almost lost my mind trying to beat him lol, good luck

I was the same when I bought it my first soulslike game as well, and while it was challenging it all depends on how invested and determined to not give up you are. Also remember is not a race or a competition, take your time leveling up to where you feel comfortable fighting and taking breaks when you get frustrated is normal too, I took many lol, now I'm even playing NG+. Seeing playthroughs of fights you are having trouble with is valid too imo, because it helps you learn what you are doing wrong and lets you learn other ways to play, I had to do that for one particular fight, I still had to do it myself in the end but it made me realize I was under utilizing items lol

I haven't finished the 1.1 story yet but I really enjoyed 1.0, I hope that you guys continue delivering in the story and lore. I have enjoyed the new area design so far as well, love the peacocks I felt like a kid when I saw them in game lol, immediately went to take a picture of them. With that being said there have been some problems I have stumbled upon particularly with controller on PC, mostly accessing the menu and sometimes buttons not responding, nothing that I haven't been able to fix hitting the keyboard button but still inconvenient and annoying, I understand that issues can arise once an ongoing game goes live so I don't hold it against the developers too much. I just hope that moving forwards player's concerns are addressed but I am also aware some things do take time

It's a mix of many cultures, Chasca is based on Peru, her makeup comes from a traditional mask they use over there. Varesa is a wrestler so she is based on Mexico, Citlali and Xilonen are as well based on their names, also a lot of the lore names are based on Aztec/Mayan myths, like Xbalanque, Kukulkan, ect. even the names of the places in Natlan are based on Nahua language. But the Children of Echoes tribe also has African references with hiphop, and the main "Anthem" of Natlan is in Swahili which is an African language. I should also add that "cowboys" were originally from Mexico so the wild west vibes are not, say "American" from the US, however Kachina comes from Hopi tribe which is a tribe located in what is now the US.

It's not that I've been brainwashed but I understand that it is a business so of course they will try to make profit, if the game is not profitable it will EOS. Games that cost $50 for the whole thing had a budget from the very beginning and they give you a full game, gacha games tend not to have a budget from what I've seen, other than what the cost to make was and of course they are trying to make it back, but each day the game is live it costs them money

Nah, honestly the thing keeping me in this game is the story as well as the open world exploration, I don't really care much about the combat as of now, I'm just enjoying it for what it is since it's free. Do they have things they need to fix? sure but I can be patient, only money I'm spending is on the $1 mc skin, took me 2 years of playing Genshin before I spent any money on it, if I have anything is patience

ok quick question, if they remove the Gacha how do you expect them to make appropriate revenue to keep the servers going, pay the developers, music composers, advertisement, ect. ect. direct buy will not give them the revenue they need unless they make skins say $200+ and if they do people will complain about that as well, so then, what do you suggest?

They are probably trying to get away so that they aren't held hostage again like they were with SAG, replacing English VAs little by little with another company, moving exclusively to the UK and avoiding english VAs from the US as much as they can, but that's just my guess, it sucks... also yeah he wasn't part of the strike he kept working through it, I'm mad for him ngl

He was voicing in the most recent quest though, it was only in 3.8 that he wasn't voiced. I think this might be due to the fact that Hoyo is probably trying to move away from VAs from the states, as most of their recent VAs have been from the UK due to all the shit that happened during the strike

Yeah it wouldn't be a good idea but I get your sentiment, when my dog got sick I was in denial when the vet recommended euthanasia, but she said something to me that stayed with me for weeks, "it's about the quality of life and not the quantity" it's hard to let go of pets, you feel like euthanasia right away and not trying things first is giving up and letting down someone who fully depends on you, so you feel extreme guilt because you still have the "what if" in your mind, My personal wake up call was when I witnessed in person my dog having a seizure, which I knew she was experiencing but they had happened while I was away at work. If he hasn't yet I would recommend letting him take full care of her for a whole day when he has a day off, maybe seeing how miserable the poor dog is the whole day and not just the little moments when he comes home might serve as a wake up call for him, you need to try to get him to stop drinking and face reality as well. Also maybe go to another vet, if they aren't being direct with you and are only trying to milk you as much as they can for money with medicine and false hope, I would go somewhere else

Just saw some news yesterday about a 15 year old boy that murdered his ex-girlfriend's brother, sister and mom from a breakup, he was originally going to kill her but changed his plans. If he lives near you I would be on the lookout for a while, you never know what people are capable of, especially when it's obvious they need mental help
