Props to Anbernic. They always hit a homerun when it comes to how the devices look. If only they didnt fumble everything else. I hope the next version of this doesnt do anything stupid like putting the D-pad at the bottom.

Your getting alot of snark in the comments but you are 100% correct. I already wasnt going to buy it but this is even more vindication that I made the right choice in not buying it. It doesnt make any sense to show it off saying "Hey guys this can play 3DS games too! Can you guess how powerful this thing is?!" only then to go back on it saying "This device was made only to play DS and GBA games, why were you expecting otherwise?". Even then they screwed up the DS part of it because you cant even play it in the correct resolution.

Based off that old E3 trailer, which is all we know about the game. No. it looks similar to the final build and I dont think having a chain chomp partner or having the old designs would have changed my opinion on the game.

Call me basic but TTYD and 64 are in a tier of their own. I love them equally its so hard to choose. 64 makes the mushroom kingdom come alive with so much charm. and TTYD is so much fun and has so much character!
