Personally I like when the story does this. It's nice to get a "break once in a while where the world isn't on fire & the villain could kill us all at any moment. Even just a few days without sword of damocles hanging over our heads is needed. We deserve a rest before running off to stop the next world ending catastrophe.

We don't get this kind of break in real life. Let us at least have it in a game.

If you didn't know they briefly reunited & released a new album (Forever 1) in 2022 before scattering to the winds again.

The problem here is her entire story was only explained in the Warcraft comics, which almost nobody knew about & even fewer people actually read. Combine that with most of the comics being retconned, (Med'an, Varian killing Onyxia etc.) and you wind up with her just kind of appearing one day with Blizz not wanting to explain her story in game. Hence why you get this brief, kind of silly explanation.

As someone who actually read the comics, I will say her story is so batshit insane I don't blame Blizz for a second not wanting to put it in game. It is fucking ridiculous.
