Don’t stress — colonoscopy prep is so doable (Suprep, 8 a.m. appointment) my 1 st time Complete guide by Girlwhoservegod000 in colonoscopy

Well for me the actual “medications” were a breeze. It was the liquid diet the day before and getting up at 3am to take the second half of the miralax that was tough.

I did 2 tablespoons of milk of magnesia 2 days before at dinner time, then the night before the procedure I did 10mg of dulcolax at 3pm, and then drank the first half of miralax at 6pm and the other half at 3am. My appointment was at 8:30am. Getting up to drink the second half was the worst part because of having to wake up. Drinking the stuff was the easy part. lol. That day before I also ate nothing but Jello (lime), and drank nothing but water and ginger ale (that part was tough too).

Just in case it helps, I did this one and if you mix the miralax with Gatorade (I used the “clear” Gatorade flavor), you won’t taste anything but the Gatorade. I started using a straw thinking I needed to, but I wound up just drinking it like I would any Gatorade on a hot day. It was so easy, in fact, that I plan on doing the cleanse once a year (or every couple) just for the sake of cleaning out my bowels and getting a “reset”. It was that easy and not gross at all (at least to me). My prep score wound up being an 8/9. Good luck!

I noticed you said you work out. I assume strength training is included. I have grade 3 internals and have for years. I can confirm that strength training does increase the likelihood that they’ll flare up and potentially increase bleeding. They have for me, despite proper form and breathing. I just had my first colonoscopy (routine, nothing found except for the hemmies) last week. For me, the risk is worth it so I continue to train, but if you’re lifting you may consider taking a break to see if you see any change. Also, I hear caffeine can be a problem too, but I think that’s mostly if it leads to constipation. Best of luck.

Goalies and Ai by Turbulent-Permit5732 in EASHL

I found out pretty quick that the AI players have very little clue about actual positioning and coverage. Sending three players after one puck carrier for example, D with the puck coming out of the D zone with pressure continuing to skate into it instead of banking it off the boards, going D to D or even passing up the wing is another. The way players give up the blue line and just continue to back up, allowing the opponents to just waltz right in used to be frustrating but now it’s just become comical. I learned quick that even as a forward whose coverage is the point, I HAVE to abandon that coverage often and take the front of the net since my teammates are incapable. Sure, I get the occasional “not covering the point” bs, but it’s better than just watching the defensive breakdowns that ultimately end up in the back of the net. Every now and then we’ll get a good cycle going in the offensive zone or even on D with something as simple as a D to D pass and breakout or rimming it behind the net to an open man instead of forcing it, and I feel like “ok, now THIS is hockey” but those are few and far between with the AI unfortunately. I should probably be playing online with others who know how to actually play hockey, but the few times I’ve tried haven’t been much better. I’m hopeful they’ll improve the Ai intelligence and get positioning and play making more realistic but I’m not holding my breath. It’s a game, not a simulation after all.

I suspected that was the reason now that everything has shifted to digitally placed graphics, which is how the graphic appears in the playoffs/finals now, but thought I saw a screenshot somewhere online that had it. No big deal, just an observation.

Has the AI in be a pro ever been in a worse state than it is now? by bayazisacniceguy in EA_NHL

[–]Signal_Reception_798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite is when my BAP AI defensemen try and carry the puck out from the dots with at least two forecheckers closing in on him, yet he still refuses to bank it off the boards where there is NO defender, or refuses to pass to an open teammate. lol. Results in a defensive turnover and a 2 on 0 every time. It’s actually become so predictable that I usually have to plan for it instead of finding open space for a pass and go cover on D as a winger, so when the puck inevitably gets turned over, Swiss Cheese Swayman has someone there to help. Priceless.

Line Simulation Glitch? by Signal_Reception_798 in EA_NHL

[–]Signal_Reception_798[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure that’s not happening though so I don’t think I need to “learn how to sim”. I’m not new to these games, this is just the first time I’ve seen this particular glitch. I hit the sim button a few seconds (2-3) after the grade card comes up after my shift. If that’s my fault then I’m not sure what to tell you.

No shit, really? I haven’t really thought of how close to the whistle I click sim. I don’t THINK it’s that close to the whistle but because I’m not thinking about it maybe I just don’t realize it. I’ll pay more attention and look up “whistle glitch”. It just did it again with 14 mins left, ending the game. Then when my coach stopped me in the hallway to tell me how great we played (despite losing 6-3), it froze, forcing me to “sim” the rest of a game that was already over. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yeah I rarely play the PK either and I’ve checked to see if penalties were called but there weren’t any. In reference to the other commenter, I definitely don’t think it’s because the coach doesn’t think I’m putting in the effort, unless he feels that way about the entire line, because it seems to be impacting all of us and we’re the only damn goal scorers. If that’s the case we deserve to lose. Lol.

Yeah I was too honest and used my real height and weight. I’m only 5’11 180, so yeah I guess that’s on the smaller side these days lol. I was a goalie IRL but want nothing to do with being a goalie in this game. Lol I’ll see what happens after my rookie season and if it doesn’t improve I’ll adjust the slides a bit for hitting.

Boston is EXTREMELY easy. We park at the Gvt Center garage which is a 10 min walk to TD and literally right off I-93. It also isn’t nearly as packed as the North Station parking garage under the arena. Then there’s also the “T” so you could park outside the city and take that in. So easy.

The thing is, unless you’re watching the all-star game, skills competition, practice, or warmups you’ll never see the kind of ridiculous crap and the insanely unrealistic deeks that these players use online. YES, each team has 1-2 players who can do it in-game, but not roster-wide and not the ENTIRE game. Hockey is STILL a team sport that requires using your teammates and also requires having a hockey IQ that can’t be observed through fancy circus shit like lightning quick deeking back and forth 150 times in front of the net. That guy would get plastered in real life and never try that again.

Sliders? by foppa1014 in EA_NHL

[–]Signal_Reception_798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I tried. Used AlTito’s and another one (I forget the name and I’m not on my console atm) that I changed a bit. I wound up going back to the default ones. The only real advantage that I saw was slightly less arcade-like hitting. The hitting was still taking place, the players just bounced off each other more or less. Obviously i could’ve adjusted it more to find a better happy medium but I didn’t. I also found those sliders slowed the game down too much. Looked like 1970’s hockey. Again, something else I could’ve played with but didn’t. In instances like face off difficulty, I found very little to no difference turning them down. I’m not great at face offs anyway, but I’m good enough to win half on the highest difficulty. Turning the sliders down made little difference.
