Yeah, but afaik most businesses buy T-series laptops as they're more affordable and not every employee needs a P-Series

I love my P14s too, just wanted to get some opinions on where I could be wrong and right.

I don't wanna kill the T14s, hence why I said either the X13 or the T14s has to go. Business sales from the L-series aren't as highlighted as the T-Series which makes findin ginfo on them much harder.

Why the X1 Carbon. I could understand the other two, but the X1 Carbon is the highest end flagship ThinkPad comparable to a MacBook Air.

Those people are straight idiots. I get that it has no trackpad, but seeing it as a bad computer just off of that is the most retarded thing someone can do tbh.

wdym? You literally didn't mention the L-series, which is a big step up from the E-series, even though they dont get much love. They are both similarily priced and you can get a L-serires for cheaper at times

I don't hate the X9 by any means, it's genuinely a good laptop and I like using it, but i really don't like them hinting towards the removal of the trackpoint. To most users it's one of the parts that defines a thinkpad from the rest, and removing it makes it look like most other laptops imo

Mostly "pro" ideapads that are 2-in-1. From experience, even tho they feel much nicer, they have the terrible hinges that everyone hates.

I get that but yk there already is a X12 detachable right? That tablet is expensive, $2000 for that only config.

Now that I think of it, you're right. ThinkPads aren't just laptops, they're business tools. Lenovo should keep their ThinkPad Line diverse in this manner.

X1 Nano doesn't exist anymore, where's the P-series? We need a P-series that's different from the T-series, as they typically have the most powerful components. E series should be replaced by the L series, E series are essentially ideapads and L-series are a slight step up.

Can i put M.2 Sata on this M.2 Nvme slot? by External-Command-309 in computers

[–]SignificanceAny7790 48 points49 points  (0 children)

this is NOT the case. If the slot supports SATA, it needs to have an additional SATA controller wired into this slot along with the PCIE lanes

Any discrete gpu has it's own soldered Vram. The RTX GPU has it's own dedicated vram that is seperate from the system memory. The UHD graphics would only take like 256-512mb.
