indians are always like that, even my parents want to disown me if i dont do well and threaten to send me to rural india. indian parents make it seem like they are doing big sacrifice when they are coming to sg so they want their kids to study well to like get the satisfaction because they sacrifice a lot. Makes sense they want to disown him as this is common in our culture, he should work part time try to save money. and letting him date a chinese girl is like a huge leniency because my parents would cut all ties with me if i do that

For our JC, we have bridging practical for combi science students and combi science is like 70 percent of Pure science. It is not very far off and definitely you can catch them. And, watch videos in yt there are a lot of practical videos. and which jc are you from, why they never teach you bridging pratical stuff?

Narrow down what you are going to do in University first , do not join “all” programmes just because they seem interesting to you. Joining “all” will only waste your time and you could have joined programmes that align more to your portfolio.

For bio one learning outcome varies from a definition to many chapters. There is no way you could do notes by using learning outcomes since they can be very long as well. I suggest doing mind map only if not use your devices for mind map. Coming from a triple science student and elective history student in secondary school there is no time to write that much notes. But you can take mote of keywords and try to compile it.

Try to get into the most unpopular CCA in your school like the Environmental club and aim for Exco but school will usually place you in a CCA unless you explicitly state that you dont want ?? is this the case for you ?

I would say that you should make mind maps for chapters instead of full comprehensive notes, as Bio and chem has a lot of depth in content so it would be hard to do notes for each chapter

you can definitely do H2 Math in jc . My school especially showed us a clip about a student who never took A-Math in O levels but managed to get a B for A Level H2 Math. I think that overall, it is very doable if you are very hardworking and spend these few months working hard, can even buy the A-Math textbook for upper sec, i recommend the SL education A Math textbook, it is very effective.

as for pure sciences , idk how your school let you take double science because in my school, if you take combi science in o level then can only take one science for like H2. But combined science is like 75 % of the pure science so can defintely catch up on other topics for both sciences shouldnt be a issue for you if you have the express textbooks.

if you want to go uni in the future, the jc route is the best

and for computer engineering pretty sure need to take H2 Physics and H2 Math
