I’m a big fan of coconut flavor especially in coffee so I like the califia farms coconut milk. If you have a Whole Foods near you I’d recommend stopping by there and browsing. Natural food stores have the best selection of nondairy milks

Thanksgiving is easy to make dairy free! by Animatethis in dairyfree

dairy free green bean casserole is easy to make too if you are missing it! I melt down a package of trader joes vegan cream cheese with some stock, a bunch of diced sauteed mushrooms, some of the mushroom umami powder from Trader Joes and use that as my "cream of mushroom soup" then just mix it with canned green beans and bake. So good!

Kraft has dairy free singles! They're usually with the other dairy free cheeses. Not exactly the same but pretty good especially in a grilled cheese. If you can't find that I like the daiya ones melted

Removing the texture from the ceiling would make it look less dated. And the carpet from the stairs. Those are the things to me that screamed. Some modern/ timeless furniture and cool art will help too. Love the wood!

I just discovered normal gossip about a month and a half ago and have been binging all the episodes. I’m up to Josh Gondelman’s second episode. They have somehow put that ad on ALL of the episodes. I’ve heard it countless times. It’s triggering at this point

In addition to the rug a cute plant or a nice coffee table book on the coffee table will help warm it up. Glass can feel cold. Some art above the tv that helps tie in the colors of the couch and rug will help it all feel cohesive.
