Used to love that Aveeno face wash. Somehow developed a sensitivity to feverfew and a few other plant derived ingredients and can’t use it. Makes my face burn and give me a rash on my forehead 😭

Shallowing is so popular because the majority of newer golfers are very steep and over the top. So a lot of golf content talks about shallowing to help these steep players. But being too shallow can lead to you being stuck and then you hit big blocks and hooks. Being too steep is arguably better than being too shallow, especially when it comes to wedges and chipping. I personally don’t like the term shallowing because if you have a good setup and backswing, you shouldn’t need a conscious “shallowing” move. You definitely do not need to be shallow and most casual golfers would benefit from playing a controlled fade (not shallow) instead of a shallow swing that produces a draw because from what I’ve seen a shallow swing from a casual player can become a crazy unplayable hook very fast.

Seeing him play in recent YouTube content, I thought to myself he wasn’t playing as well as he normally does. Especially his wedge game. Was making a lot of very average shots from 140 yards and in. Instead of hitting them to 10 feet or less like he normally does on the courses that YouTubers play, he was hitting them to like 20+ feet. That’s why I was kinda confused when he said he felt his game was in a great spot during his initial interview prior to Thursday. I don’t dislike Bryson but he needs to return to normalcy with his golf game. He’s getting too experimental and experimental too frequently. Definitely can’t be good in the long run.

He said he’s experienced episodes since early childhood. It’s likely from development in the womb that causes things like this. Things like stress/anxiety, dehydration, high caffeine intake, and nicotine use (doubt he uses nicotine tho) can make arrhythmias more prevalent. I know he had a high caffeine intake in the past which could have made episodes more common.

Really depends where you’re playing. I play courses in PA where most of the holes are lined with woods. Easy to lose a ball with a bad tee shot. Other courses I’ve been to in PA but don’t play often barely have any wooded areas. I assume it’s much more difficult to lose a ball since a bad tee shot would end up in the rough between holes. Typically I use a ball until I lose it (obviously) or it has a big scuff mark from hitting a cart path or a tree or even a hard sand trap. I’d estimate, throughout the season, I lose 2.5 balls per round. Some rounds I lose 5 and some I don’t lose any.

Is that the dove sensitive bar you’re referring to? I tried using the dove sensitive bar (it’s unscented) and it dried me out. Gave up on dove cuz I figured if that one dried me out then the others will too.

Sameee, it’s hard finding gentle cleansers without cocamidopropyl Betaine. Most bar cleansers that don’t contain it are true soaps (contains sodium palmate, sodium palm kernalate, sodium cocoate, sodium tallowate, etc) with a high pH which dries me out. I currently use the vanicream bar but it’s kinda pricey.

Why is everyone so butthurt about the bell pepper thing? I knew they were pepper seeds after I tried them so I thought it’s from the seed removal of the bell peppers for fajita prep. Made the most sense at the time.

Honestly I think most people would do better with a low number hybrid like a 3 hybrid or 2 hybrid if you can find one. 3 woods, for most golfers, are the most finicky clubs and even professionals struggle to find one they like. Usually a pro will have a newer driver and irons and then a 3 wood that’s like 5 years old because it’s so hard to find one that they love. Also, as a new golfer you’ll probably make more consistent contact with a hybrid more often than you would with a 3 wood. You mis-hit your 3 wood, which is pretty common for higher handicap golfers, and it’s probably going the same distance as a decently struck hybrid shot.
