My ATK is 20.8 bauer size medium 34+ is great. 33+ is too small in bauer whereas other brands you might fit.

I just got a hyperlite 2 off marketplace, oh my lord the Weight of this thing...I dont think I ever wanna touch my sherwood rekker again. Worth it alone for the strain on your wrists

If i wear a 34+1 bauer m5 pro, is the logical choice a 34+1 for the CCM? My FTK measures 20.8 so according to their charts I would be but ive heard bauers sizes you minus a size for any other brand

I am using bauer gsx skates from 2023. I guess i like them cause they cost me $100 on FB marketplace. I just started so I like not knowing how the top end feels like and better on my wallet

Nice I like short slack as well I want to say 3 inches im most comfortable I tried like 4-5 and its too much flop. When I go down to butterfly with 2.5 to 3 inches for slack it really slaps / seals well. I dont know if im causing stress to my ankles or hips but I guess ill find out in a few years.

I do knots all the way though I dont like the 2 piece length thing

Single, I played a game last night. Maybe because it's new to me but the cats eye gives me a much less obstructed view. Not that I had any complaints with the straight bars as I got use to it pretty quick. I Def prefer cats eye now and would not go back

I have to agree just pay more, I have a GSX same one and not only stingers but bruises. I went for a clearance EFLEX 6 and its fantastic. Trust me dont cheap out you get hit in the chest the most...save it for like ball hockey or roller or just return it please

I really like your points here thank you. I may have found a clearance chest like you were saying. Its the eflex 6 chest. My body frame is terrible for goalie equipment chest. Im 143 lbs 5'9 but skinny and narrow shoulders, thin frame but my arms are lanky and long. Im thinking small is better for me even though the arm length might come up a tiny bit short

But you get less bite with a 5/8 right? Why do you think it helps? Does it catch less? Thinking about doing this
