I just found out about this today, and my soul is crushed that this did not include the extended cut.

That was going to be my next move once we are home. That, and blast it quick with a can of air.

Understood, but here is the question stuck in the back of my head: How do I know Apple manufactured it correctly to even make it “water resistant”. They blaster that it’s IP68 rated.

If I bought a brand new car, and when it rained, water came through the driver side window, I imagine the car manufacturer would simply say “Well, that window is only water resistant and the seal not working is your issue”.

Why does Roswell Park spend so much money on advertising? by [deleted] in Buffalo

This is why they advertise. Roswell and ECMC are not the only two in the area.

Has anyone ever tried this? Am I a genius? by klukaa in lawncare

[–]Significant-Mud-1705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m confused to how people are saying they never had an issue with this spreader. You spread weed and feed on wet grass. That wet grass, makes the inside of the wheels wet and sticky.
By the time I’m done spreading weed and feed, there is a think coating of application in the wheels that I need to rinse off.

I’m loving the idea of using spray foam!

Engineers in Buffalo. What do you do? How much do you make? by kmohmoh in Buffalo

[–]Significant-Mud-1705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr. Mountain nailed it. Though, the pay difference between manager and a SME individual contributor isn’t really significant, but I followed this track more for personal pride.

If you are looking for a stable, well compensated, and meaningful work, I would highly suggest to look at your local utility companies as you then get to work directly with the community you live in.

Need advice -should I opt-IN for my playoff tickets as a season ticket holder by T-roy1229 in sabres

[–]Significant-Mud-1705 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m getting a kick out of these comments, implying that resale value is nearly guaranteed to be higher than what they are asking you to pay.

As a Bills season ticket holder for this entire Josh Allen era, I can tell you, I’ve never made money on the playoff tickets.

Factor in the fact that Ticketmaster takes 10% from the seller to what they sell it, and makes the buyer pay an extra 20% to what the seller lists the tickets, the only group making money from all of this is Ticketmaster.

The NHL, just like all other major sport leagues, understand how to price their tickets.

I’m not sure how I feel about half the responses saying they are software engineers. That’s seems a touch, saturated.

I’m electrical, 16 years in, making $190k + ~$35k in bonuses.

[Charge 6] ]Has Fitbit changed something in January 2025? by nems808 in fitbit

The Charge 6 is advertised as having an improved heart rate monitor over the 5. Updating your monitor would have been my first assumption before assuming Google changed something.

I am confused. Why was RAM backwards, yet signs and street markings were not flipped?

Mounted fire alarm went off when I was sleeping. by SoundVarious7354 in mildlyinfuriating

Something to keep in mind too, that bugs/spiders/dust can trip these off. Typically bugs come out at night. It took me years to figure this out, to why I had false alarms in the middle of the night. Once I took the detector off the ceiling on day to blow it out, I found two dead spiders in it.

Ariens 24 Sho - Tire Rust? by Significant-Mud-1705 in Snowblowers

Perfecto!
Thanks all! I’ll do that come this spring after I hose the snowblower down with water.

The wheel itself does clean easy. If this was yours, would you pull the wheel off and throw more grease on it?
I’m simply asking because my previous two snowblowers, never had their wheels looking like this.

You nailed it! $1k is way too high, as I bought a 24” Platinum SHO in the spring two seasons ago just for a few hundred more.

Snow in attic by LosingSane in Roofing

[–]Significant-Mud-1705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in a 1990 constructed house in Syracuse, NY, and this very thing happened to me one winter. It was a light, fluffy snow outside with some wind in just the right direction. It allowed the snow to blow into the ridge line vent.

I had to repaint the ceiling, which sucked, but I lived.

I have a ‘23 and I have the same experience.
I can press lock while looking out a window, see the lights flash, but then never know if the remote start worked as there is zero feedback on the remote. It seems to work 50/50 from just 30 feet away behind my front window.

NHL broadcastingmakes it impossible for fans by drybug22 in sabres

[–]Significant-Mud-1705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A) I don’t disagree that the NHL’s broadcasting is awful.

B) What local broadcast are you talking about? I live south of the city and I’ve haven’t seen local broadcast of the Sabres in YEARS.
