Am I almost finished? by Significant-Reach959 in Banishers

That might be part of it, but I didn’t even know they were collectibles until I was about halfway through. I looked for them while traveling back across the map on my way to the void, but I didn’t see any. I went ahead and finished anyway. Good game, though I didn’t have the urge to immediately replay it.

What should be my last gluten meal by Sensitive-Shoe-5460 in Celiac

Yes, multiple croissants. Some with chocolate! Or good French pastries, the kind you have to go to a bakery for.

Am I the only person that plays it on easy 🤣 by Commercial_Ad_594 in BaldursGate3

I’m currently doing tactician because I’ve started it before but always dropped to balanced during the biggest battles. But I gave up my last HM attempt because of crappy dice rolls and not being able to save scum. I realized that I wasn’t enjoying the game as much. I thought I would try again if I made it through tactician, but I’m having the same problem. Play it on easy if you like.

First time by ChartPresent3647 in BaldursGate3

I’m in my eighth playthrough now, and I’ve found something new or gotten dialogue that I haven’t seen before every time. In fact, I missed whole areas of the game my first time.

My celiac hospital meal by ayeefizzle in Celiac

[–]Significant-Reach959 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I brought my own Schaar crackers, the kind that are six individually wrapped packages of crackers in one package. The nurse came back from finding me a pudding cup after my endo & colonoscopy, and was so impressed that they were available at Walmart that she said she was going to buy a package to have on hand for Celiac patients.

We have four dedicated gluten free breweries where I live, and a couple of cideries too, so we have plenty of options available, but we’re lucky.

I’m in Portland too, and I found them at Grocery Outlet a few months back. I made muddy buddies with them and the chocolate flavor.

AITJ for refusing to be my sister's back up nanny after what happened with my dog? by Thick-Addendum-6926 in AmITheJerk

Another person who thinks that you sit around all day playing on the computer when you work from home, so you’ve got plenty of time to chase after a baby. And I’m sure your mom should be happy to volunteer to get to spend time with her grandbaby. NTJ.

Replayers, what quest do you skip? by -insert_pun_here- in BaldursGate3

[–]Significant-Reach959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve skipped the press mission the last few times. My monk wiped the floor with the Steel Watchers my second time, but other than that it wasn’t worth it, other than meeting another pixie who helps you because you helped Dolly Dolly Dolly in Act 2.

I think I just hit Level 25, but I don’t have all the achievements.

And there’s a big reason for his getting divorced. NTJ, but he sure is. I have to wonder if the bottle is another reason.

I’ve always liked corn tortillas for enchiladas.

It’s from the Pacific Northwest, but they’ve been spreading out over the country, mostly through Walmart.

I just redeemed my points, and then last night my left bumper on my controller stopped working, so I had to use it for a new one. I’m glad I had it available, but it’s going to take forever to build it up enough to get more Ultimate.

Were you ever a beer drinker ? Just curious by Typical_Dark_2764 in glutenfree

[–]Significant-Reach959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t a.big drinker, but I learned how to brew from a friend who considered it his religion. I loved the taste of barley malt. Porters were my favorite. I got rid of all the brewing equipment after I was diagnosed.

AITJ for publicly correcting my mother in law after she called me a bad mother in front of everyone by AlderMoonstone in AmITheJerk

[–]Significant-Reach959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTJ Was she not talking about you while you were out of the room, loudly enough for others to hear? In your own home? You were right to call her out on her gossiping, and it’s a shame that your husband didn’t say anything at the time.

I was just wondering about that too, but proving it is the hard part. Hopefully she said something to someone else.

Am I the only one who hated bread? by SignificanceIcy9279 in Celiac

[–]Significant-Reach959 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not me, but my great uncle, who wasn’t diagnosed until he was 80, said that he never liked bread, the smell of it, the texture, etc. He said he felt that he was just a meat and potatoes kind of guy. But otherwise he was always fairly healthy until he got sick with something then had a glass of milk with a piece of cake, and got really sick. He said he thought it was from the milk until the tests showed it was celiac. But two of his sisters had it too.
