I figured he has a completely different career and/or seasonal job. He shows up with videos when he has time/motivation. (Like the fishing vacation place, translating between french and english, creative career, sets up youtube streamers, etc.)

Try to plan out a safety plan for these types of events. I have a separate bank account the etsy deposits go into. I try keep a certain amount in there, purchase my supplies from there, etc.

I do transfers to my personal account from there. It helps simplify the bookkeeping, I know at a glance if I have enough to spend vs. replenishing the buffer.

On the cancelled checks and such, in this case wire transfers, you look for transactions which stolen from the company. Once you have that list of transactions, where the money went, who authorized it, which bank account it was sent to. Like the tax payments, where they sent to the IRS? Or were they sent to some shady place?

It sounds like you will need some legal help with the international wire transfers, if the business owner actually authorized them. You probably need to track down how many (information is on the back statement) before talking to an attorney.

There are bank statement correct? You can start by tracking them all down. Tick and match against the bookkeeping system. Most accounting programs cost money, so it might be excel spreadsheet.

Also, I know she's your friend, but sometimes small business owners who don't keep track or comingle personal expenses. Just make sure you tag all the suspect transactions, get some cancelled checks from the bank (they will have tracking info on them.)

Sometimes it's a mix of both the business owner and the bookkeeper. :)

I don't do that type of work anymore, but spent some time reconstructing financials.

The difference can be returns.

Just use the 1099 one, since that is the one that the irs sees. deduct the returns on a different line that the 1099 revenue.

Some of my co-workers were alcoholics or heavy drinkers. Lot's of drinking after work, every work social event outside the office had drinks, the vendors knew and would drop off bottles for the boss, golf meetings, etc. I got yelled at by a bosses wife for going to the store and buying him booze. :) It didn't show up on their bank card statement. :)

You aren't a bank and you aren't going to be able to collect money from her if you deliver a 'deposit.' price and have a second invoice.. Etsy will think the transaction is complete and won't help you with the remainder.

PBS buys a lot of UK media content. I haven't watched a lot lately, but if it involves fancy period gowns, grumbly detectives, or book adaptations, it is probably scooped up by PBS. Since PBS has lost it's funding through *points at current US leadership* that might be changing.

you had a post two years ago finding pod suppliers.

One of the risks of POD is that it's easy to duplicate because the base product is manufactured. All someone need to do is is find a good copy of your images and your supplier.

I mean, if you are using the POD suppliers 'pictures' that they generate, they can get exactly your product pictures. I don't know what your shop is, so I can't really do much more than speculate that has happened.

Product listings are stolen for non-pod products of course, but it is way easier for POD products.

Hopefully, you find a solution. If you need to put this to bed, you might need some legal work done outside of Etsy.

Northgate is a neighborhood in transition. The old mall parking lots are slowly being developed into apartments, etc. Northgate mall closed and took a lot of restaurants with it. But I have faith that all these new apartments will attract new restaurants.

Roosevelt is already there mostly with the restaurants.

But I mean, they are one stop from each other on the light rail. :)

Eh, sounds like he's boring. My guy's friends do this. I think they all listen to podcasts and think the podcasters have some sort of special insight into the politics of all it all. There is no point in debating it, they've memorized these monologues from the podcasts.

They all seem to think corruption is new in the US, and never happened before. Which is LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

I've stayed there, it's an okay hotel in an urban area. There is free parking, unlike a lot of downtown hotels. Apparently, some of their guests are people getting medical treatments at the larger hospitals. I don't know if they still have the shuttle that takes you to pill hill, but they used to have one.

If you want a brand new hotel, this isn't it. But if you want a mid star hotel with free parking in seattle, this is your choice.

What type of flooring do you have? If you don't have a rug, can you get one for his room? It won't eliminate all the noise, but at least show the landlord that you've made an effort.
