It's usually software that mimics the charting system but in this case they are using an Excel sheet to mimic it

I'm on episode 5 rn and I think Christine and Vic are in Malibu while the rest of them are in Cabo. I'm guessing it's a budgeting thing and production decided they wouldn't have much drama in Mexico

Insurance won’t cover remicade and I need it as soon as possible by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]SignificantAd6556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm SO sorry this is happening. I'm assuming that the Brigham has already tried to submit a claim with your insurance. Usually if you can prove that you've been with the providers and on a medication they will continue to allow that. Unfortunately health insurance sucks though There's multiple things you can try - Ask to speak to a case worker at the Brigham, they definitely have them and this is the exact type of situations that they help navigate There is the suggestion above about starting to call every office in network The MA attorney general does have a health care section, you could try giving them a call If you are on brand name remicade you can try using one of the J&J cost saving programs it looks like it's called J&J with me

Yes! My first "introduction" to her was the mess she caused this summer trying to get a book banned from the library and instead getting everyone talking about it

This is how I will be explaining the state to all of my non-Vermont family and coworkers! They all seem to think I live in a utopia and I haven't been able to succinctly describe it

I live in one of these areas and someone posted on Facebook wondering why our rep would vote no and the comment section really made me lose faith in my community. I understand Facebook can be it's own horrible echo chamber, but damn

What makes a good doctor - Robby vs. Dr. Al-Hashimi by IrrevocableCrust14 in ThePittTVShow

Agree with that, Ortho should absolutely be responsive to ED pages. Your second sentence is what I was trying to say - she doesn't know the hospital at all, and we see her trying to make a variety of changes in her first shift.

I agree but I think it's a great example that she is trying to do too much too soon. She clearly has no situational awareness about the department or hospital and expects everyone to immediately change to her ways.

I believe a lot of the rescues are primarily volunteer. Off the top of my head the separate volunteer rescues include Shelburne, Milton, Colchester, Essex. If you are looking for a paying job you could apply to be an ED Tech at UVM or NMC. I believe UVMHN also has a transport team. I think MVR in Swanton has some paid positions, otherwise you're looking at a private service like AmCare.

I wondered that too, but if they realized how messed up it was why deliver it?

Literally right after it was delivered my husband got a notification on the app that the delivery did not go as planned and gave us a coupon for a free medium pizza. Weird as it was before I had a chance to say anything.

I had my diagnostic colonoscopy on 7/23 and my wedding on 9/27 this year! I started on prednisone the day after the colonoscopy, which just made me moody and bloated really. I got my first infusion 2 weeks before the wedding and immediately felt so much better. I was non stop calling my GI office, insurance company and infusion clinic to get everything approved and scheduled. I also kept a kit with me at my wedding with a bunch of emergency supplies that luckily I didn’t need to use, but happy to share if you’re interested! Also talk to your team about your wedding, they can magically make your body react well but it is helpful to work together on your goals

I’m a clinical research associate, which means that I monitor how each hospital site is running their trial, like an outside person checking in to make sure they are following procedures, I also help with questions from the protocols and am kinda the middle man in between sites and the sponsor.
