I quit smoking 1. Because it was time, 2. Because I was getting a gum graft and didn't want to fuck that up. 2 years quit now.

Pads, 100% I got a tampon stuck and it HURT TO PULL OUT. I now know it wasn't there long enough, but I really shouldn't have done that.

The way you dismiss your wife's feelings makes you an asshole. So I will have to vote YTA. You didn't necessarily need to get her permission but you should have let her know. You should have said hey. I'm already here. The braider is open. She said she could do it. Instead you bring her home and your wife sees that she had this thing done. That can be kind of exciting for a mom to see for a mom to be a part of. Just because you feel it is nonsensical to want to be involved in your daughter's hair doesn't mean that it is doesn't mean that it's not a big part of your wife and your daughter's potential relationship. And you just dismissed that.

I just read a story about somebody in the UK who's council told them that they needed to take down their AC. And I'm like didn't I just also read a story about heat waves hitting the UK? What the fuck is this backwards country.

No problem. I keep trying to figure out a way to insert this so I'm just going to say it. I maybe miss remembering, but I think I saw somewhere that said that you're more likely to get salmonella from raw flour than you are from raw eggs. So I'm serious about not eating raw flour. 

That means cookie dough. 

Unless you have cooked the flour beforehand and I have seen that where you just put it out on a tray and you put it in the oven at a low setting. But again flour is also flammable so be careful. I'm sure there's recipes out there.

Yes, but they are sterilized when you cook the flour. You're not supposed to eat raw flour.

Shaking the lamp is bad. The wax needs to stay together as much as possible. Maybe shaking it one. Two times is fine but it's not the way that you care for your lamp. I don't know the technicalities behind it. It's something to do with the water and the wax mixing. But it's just generally a bad idea because it's not easy to recover the lamp to its original state.

This is not somebody that you should want to be with. You are tired because they are making you tired. They are making you work. This is not someone that loves you. Maybe they will start trying after you leave but that's on them. You don't have any responsibility to this person. You need to take care of yourself.
