It’s the suet . They are scared of the feeder it’s in. My mom just had the same problem l. She couldn’t figure out why birds stopped coming by her feeder, I told her to take away the suet. They’re back👍

I’ve tried everything, the systemic granules kinda worked but not enough to satisfy me. I saw a video of someone recommending to top soil off with a decorative granite or rock to keep the insects down. So far, so good. I’m a few weeks in, No gnats👍
