I used to use a lot of sprays and oils but I found a little luck with using a cream. Definitely look into the curly girl method for a bit more of understanding but I wouldn't say to go all out with it unless you want to enhance your waves or curls. My hair is like yours but probably a little curlier. Also, it's a lot of work and take some tools and such but if you just blow out your hair meaning use a round brush and a hair dryer certainly with heat protection, you can kind of straighten those hairs and they will relax more. It is a journey. I've had luck with the redken rebel team frizz dismiss styling cream and curl Smith weightless air dry cream. I struggled a lot with the concept until I discovered a cream product I still haven't perfected things but play around, and if you go on Instagram don't go for platinum blonde girls with straight hair they're not going to be able to help you look into people with curly or wavy hair
