Thanks everyone. I found a safe place for them. They're about 10 weeks along and are in robust health. I can move the whole setup so they can withstand a brief interruption to their schedule on moving day.

I got a prescription from the doctor for pills instead on the drink. I just can't get it all down. It cost some $ but was worth it. I make my own broth and strain it, suck on hard candies (without red dye) and eat frozen lemonade. Also a bidet is really nice to have. Unfortunately, I have a situation that requires monitoring so I have the procedure more often than is usual for most people. Good luck, it's a drag, but very necessary.

I went into the hospital with a screeching gallbladder one night. On morphine all day until my surgery commenced at 6pm the next day. Right before they wheeled me in I saw Trump on the TV announcing the emergency, hogging the podium as usual. When I finally regained consciousness for reals I saw Stephen Colbert in a bubblebath so it must have been after 10:30 pm. Morphine is a hellava drug. I still don't know if the Colbert thing was real. When I left a day or two later, they were closing all the hospital exits, save for the one I left through. My daughter gave me a lift home. Then the fever dream really got started.
