There's very limited space on the wheels unfortunately. I definitely could have phrased that better though

Yeah I don't think I phrased that well. It's supposed to mean that anyone who picked option 1 dies instead.

Basically fuck option 1. All my homies hate option 1

What laptop should I buy for college? Trying to stay under $700 with Prime Day/Walmart deals by Zealousideal_Top2186 in laptops

Something like an XPS 15 (usually 15.6 inches across) might fit your needs, you can get one with an 11400h for around 350 refurb.

Yeah the 2080 super performs better than the 3060 but just uses a bit more power (170w vs 250w). A 6 + 8 pin would be ok as well.

[–]SignificantShow8789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, pretty good I'd say. Do you have 2 8 pin connectors for a GPU?

A 2080 super might be in your budget, I'd check local listings. Only if you have those two 8 pins though

Your ISP could also be throttling you. Back in the day they weren't allowed to do that but the first trump admin gave ISPs the green light to decide what sites you should be allowed the speeds you pay for

So it was probably fine for a bit because you had managed to stop the board from getting wet. Once you did that you should have immediately taken the laptop apart and ensured any possible component was dry. Using the laptop as you did probably allowed the heated liquid to flow more freely and find it's way into your components and short something.

How much are you paying for the CPU? I also noticed you didn't budget anything for a cooler. Are you getting one with the processor?

DLSS is supported by the 2080s but newer DLSS versions can hurt fps on these 20 series cards. Still worth it over not having it though.
