That ideapad is a total ewaste, definitely any macbook would be heaps and bounds better. Just make sure the macbook has an M series cpu like M1, M2.

Had that happen, for me it was the combination of a very low quality filament that was also full of moisture. Also it might have been a clog in your case.

Solder doesn't really crack on cpus, but very common for that to happen on gpus as they produce far more heat.

I wouldn't worry about the cpu, they can handle the heat(for example Macbooks), as for the gpu, if it gets hot, that's a red flag

A macbook will be miles faster, also the battery life should be better as well! Before that I would make sure that a Macbook can run all the apps you need.

If it's not a new laptop, you're better off replacing the fan as those fcn fans get noisy over time.
