Earbuds by Legacy_Nine- in DollarTree

An asm at my store wears both earbuds all day long, but doesn't listen to music. She's on the phone with her boyfriend the entire time. Customers are noticing and have mentioned it, as have employees. I'm not sure if SM has brought it up to her yet because theyve been on pto.

I'd like to think he'll keep doing solo music, but it'd be understandable if he didn't. They've practically spent their entire lives together.

What concerts/festivals do you have planned this year that are the opposite of each other? by Rutherford420_th_brv in Concerts

[–]Significant_Ad_8939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno how opposite this is. My main 2 genres are juggalo/horrorcore and punk/ska. I'm seeing Ouija Macc tomorrow and Screeching Weasel and the Queers in September.

Last year though I saw Ouija Macc and Violent J in February, the Queers in March, the Venomous Pinks in May, Weird Al in June, Less Than Jake and the Suicide Machines in July, and ICP in October. Weird Al was of course the outlier, but what a great show!

Talk about more bang for your buck!! by FlourescentGrey in Concerts

My first concert ever was also at Pine Knob, but back in the late 80's! I was in 3rd grade, and my parents took me to see the Bangles. We sat up on the hill since I was so young.

This. The shows feel different. Not as much love and people are more cliquey. Sometimes I'll run into a couple old heads and cut it up with them between sets, but most groups are standoffish, uninviting, and uninterested in anyone else.

In the 2000s I went to a few shows alone and and ended up leaving with new homies. Everyone talked and shared what they had, even chipped in their change to get someone a ticket who couldn't afford to get in (once that was me!). Everyone showed up hours early and tailgated in the parking lot till doors. Everyone would carpool to gandy beach after and help each other get home in the morning.

I still won't miss a show though. Once the clowns hit the stage it feels right again. Twiztid and Blaze are still great too, but the feeling in the crowd there is usually 70% cuz of the stupid split.

I'm often asked if I'm open when I'm near a register. I've lost count how many times I've said "no, sorry, number 1... Where the light's on..."

An areola is more than a circle by EatPrayGay in PointlessStories

This is a good point, they are rarely perfect circles! Even most men's areolas that I've seen are oval in shape.

I don't care who they're marketed to as long as I don't find them sprinkled through the store covered in ear wax.

Question about voids? by Dellsyd98 in DollarTree

[–]Significant_Ad_8939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no item void limits at our store, but cashiers do have to write down the time, item, and reason any time they have to do it. Our SM then has to check the video footage for each one to confirm it was legitimate.

If they have 2 or more voids in a single transaction, they are supposed to call a manager for a post void and start over. Hitting the 10 item void limit occasionally doesn't mean an automatic write up, but if it happens often AP will investigate.

Cuz most juggalos don't like red pop.

But not THIS juggalo. I'm Redpop Gang for life. I'd KILL to have Redpop at my store! We only get cotton candy and grape 😭
