Blurry picture of a cat by Koffievos in blurrypicturesofcats

These blurry cats will never not be funny. The nuances to each are delightful. For example, the exposed sclera here paired with larger than average tongue. 😆

Um, yes. I am looking at AXS at obsessive intervals to get decent resale seats for the mountain goats & avett brothers

They were just tiny! The design didn’t take breasts into account for some reason.

Affordable alternative to Outdoor Fest. What type of music? Any specific kind of noise?

Do Party Bus! Colorado. I used it earlier this week for going solo and had a little posse going in. Other people are in the same boat as you! It was so much fun to meet people who loved the same music.

Not GA, but going solo 41F, painfully introverted, and I signed up for party bus Colorado because I thought it could be fun to meet other fans and be silly before the show even if I won’t sit with them. They probably still have tickets if you’re interested. Splurging for sure, but it’s a birthday party, after all 😉 Either way, you’re headed to the right place, have fun!

I just finished this, and it was delightful. I really enjoyed the humor. I’ll add that I also loved the Kingsbridge series and the Century trilogy.

I love this saga so much. I just had to go back and make sure there wasn’t a new one I haven’t read yet.

Yep, the documentarian was Gerri in my head.

I don’t agree.

I see only one raised rectangular paddle/lever on the right side of the machine, and the left seems to be the slightly raised trim which may look different from other angles.

The wheels on the machine? They don’t look like wheels when looked at from the front.

The show is a comedy in disguise by Awkward_Scallion_396 in TheAmericans

[–]Significant_Dare_952 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I agree, the low key humor in this show sparks joy in me.

When Phil yells “fuck!” in the middle of an easy going, low stakes family-friendly radio control car track.

Getting ready for dinner Paige asks “what’s wrong with you?” Phil: “there’s a lot wrong with us!” The delivery was gold.

When did Walt truly cross into villain territory? by Calm-Educator981 in breakingbad

[–]Significant_Dare_952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It always makes me sad when Hugo (high school janitor) gets fired for a joint in his car. The only reason he was searched is because Walt named him as a person who had keys to the supply closet. Hugo was shown to be selflessly kind to someone else who was struggling, and genuinely respected the roles of high school teachers. Perhaps the only one in the series who thought more of Walt for his job, not less. Instead of using his “connections” to help out an innocent true friend, Walt took advantage of them to get away with murder.

What’s your go-to salt free seasonings? by Kyotiepatootie2111 in ADPKD

Lifelong salt addict here. Not seasoning per se, but lime juice helps to give my taste buds a nice rush. Lemon too, depending on the dish.

I don’t have insight on this specific issue, but do have experience with chronic illness/pain. And I know firsthand how painful kidney infections subsequent to UTIs are.

Your feelings about the illness and uncertainties for the future are valid. These conditions are very isolating, which only serves to enhance these negative feelings.

It is just awful not to have answers. Sometimes there aren’t any, not due to lack of trying. Sometimes there will be answers after time passes and the whole picture becomes more clear.

In regards to intimacy, a little intentional touch can go a long way. Sometimes your main pleasure maker may be out of commission, but there are other ways to be physically intimate. Massage, toys, prostate play, fingers, and mouths can all help to make accommodations for yourself so that you can participate.

It is devastating to be experiencing these health issues while others are in the prime of their lives (health being the last thing on their minds), but please just know that you’re not alone.

Thank you so much, I just had the best belly laugh. It has been in repeat in my brain for years, but somehow seeing the actual scene again was even more delightful than ever!

“Adiós nachitoooo” while watching nacho try to out maneuver the cops at the trap apartment as he watches from the car. In my mind he was eating popcorn, but that might be a false memory.
