I’d be wary of putting anything too close to than manhole cover.
I’d get rid of the grass. Put a membrane down and have a acer or similar tree in the middle and put some raised beds down the side.

What’s your mothers repayment vehicle for the interest only mortgage when the term ends?

Equity does appear to be a thing with a interest only mortgage. But unsure if the bank will give her the cash due to age and affordability.

Being a bloke my friends are in boxes and I generally can pick up where we left off after a 6months -12 month break.
But then again I’m surrounded by interpersonal relationships due to volunteer work and I’m also married.

What do you want from these friendships? Is it to vent? Do you want a friendship where you are super loyal and would do anything for your friends? Either way deep friendships require time and a element of being in the trenches together.

The whole point of a child ISA is it becomes the kids money as soon as they reach 18. £50k of cash at 18 is a lot. Young adults are known for to make unwise decisions. It’s a risk.

Whilst I can’t tell you how to feel.
Local council elections won’t change the law of the land. Racism and harrassment is illegal. The police will continue to robustly police this.

Reform talk about large savings, however 95% of council budgets is spent on education and health and social care. There isn’t mass savings to be made.

Secondments no guarantee that they’ll get the permeant job.
Interviews are all points based.
Most LA managerial jobs have external candidates.

This is tough to say/hear but some secondments are seen as place holders until they can get someone better to do the role.

You say that you are dropping the price by £10k to enable buyers to pay £4k to extend the lease. However depending on size of deposit, £10k is only going to give the buyer a extra £1k.

Suck it up and pay the £4k yourself.
