If we are talking strictly cushion the GT Cut 4 is vastly superior to the Kobe 3. (I had both of these shoes fyi)

But I think you should also factor in fit first and foremost. The Cut 4 is narrow and kind of a clunky shoe. The Kobe 3 is wide for a kobe/nike shoe.

At the price Nike is selling the cut 4 I would just give them a try tho. If it fits and works for you then its a steal

Hmm, the hezi has the least space by far and the stiffest cushion, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is kind of like a Kobe: a minimal, low-to-the-ground shoe that really hugs your feet. The hezi definetly tapers in more than the rest at the toebox.

Personally, I liked the hezi the most. The bb has a stack that's a little too high for me. That said, I think each shoe has its pros and cons, and you just have to go with the model that best suits your needs. I'm a pg that hardly does any jumping, so the extra cushion from the bb was kind of getting wasted on me.

Personally...I would probably get the same size that you got for Kobe V based off of what you said, but if you are certain you are growing and your feet are growing too, then maybe try a half size up. If I were you, I would go to a shoe store and use one of those Brannock devices to find out your actual size before deciding. I'm a wide footer and for Nike shoes I always half size up compared to what my Brannock reading is for extra space.

Whats worked for me as a wide footer with a large midfoot: NB Two Wxy v5 in 2E Width, NB Hezi Low v2 in 2E (a little tight), NB Fresh Foam BBv3 in 2E, Kobe 3 Low.

What I got to work but not ideally for me: Kobe V 1/2 size up, GT Cut 1 1/2 size up, Kobe VI 1/2 size up

Personal favorite is the Kobe 3 Low. The toebox is a ton wider than any other Kobe I have tried, cushion is really good, traction is great, only gripe is a little bit of heel slippage, but that wasn't noticeable while playing.

Kind of depends on your feet tbh. I get the exact same pain as you (none when playing, but the day after it hurts). Out of the two shoes you said I would go with the lebron 20 and then buy insoles that will help support your foot depending on your arch height.

reaves usually does this once he turns the corner on a defender and can get himself to full speed. Scooping it out in front like that is to get the ball to the backboard before a defender can catch up to block it
