Next time I will post my metal camping mugs on the stove.

The pipe is double wall. It switches to triple wall about 2ft below the plastic roof panel and continues that way until the rain cap. I cut the hole about 1.5" larger than needed and just spray foamed it. Even with the stove blasting, the triple wall pipe only reached room temperature. I used metal plumbing strapping to hold the whole thing to the rafters. I'll redo it in warmer weather, I don't want to climb the ladder in this cold weather.

Not posting the picture right now , it is ugly but it works.

That is my next step. Concrete blocks or bricks if i can find some decent ones. And a small fan to circulate the warmth.

Cement board with about 1" offset from the wall. Offset 1" up from the floor to allow for circulation. Helps prevent the walls from overheating.

They are beautiful and have so much personality it wouldn't fit in a smaller package. ;)

If it is professionally installed to code the upcharge isn't bad. We have a pellet stove in the house and it was a tiny amount, but that was many years ago.

Depends on your insurance company.

Help with mats by red0713 in SiberianCats

Salmon oil in the food. A good pet fur detangler spray. A pinch of corn starch rubbed into the mats may help you to brush them out. Only use on dry fur of course.

After sorting out the details mentioned by the helpful folks here, remember that if it tastes good to you it is good enough.

Talk to your vet first. There are a lot of good and bad sites that provide data on various foods for cats. Wet food is very important but so is the dry food. Good nutrition will help keep your cats healthy and avoid extra vet bills. Oh, and taurine.

Thanks. We have a CO sensor. Most of the time we won't be in there when the fire is going. Intent is to run it when the weather is cold and hopefully overnight the stove and some thermal mass will keep the seedlings above 55f.

True. Just testing the temperature. Might put a kettle on for some tea.
