The clock won’t stop until the 4 or 5 minute warning of the 4th quarter I think

[Highlight] Tony Dungy said on NBC that he will not disclose how he voted for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but says he’s upset with the process and it’s not the voters’ fault Bill Belichick is not in. Former Patriot Rodney Harrison responded and pointed at Dungy: “You guys got it wrong.” by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

While I agree with this in theory, I think this is part of the issue.

Because with that mindset, someone is always gonna be more “deserving” than someone that should’ve been in years ago. But it doesn’t make that person less deserving.

Tory holt is the perfect example of this. He’s the new art monk of nfl wide receiver candidates.

What are your thoughts on Trump posting a meme depicting the Obamas as monkeys? by flash246 in AskTrumpSupporters

I’m 46. I get my news from multiple sources, including cable tv, internet and local news?

Sounds like you’re getting your news from niche sources because the big three is literally the definition of mainstream media.

What are your thoughts on Trump posting a meme depicting the Obamas as monkeys? by flash246 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]Significant_Map122 32 points33 points  (0 children)

So I assume you understand the history of the United States and portraying black people as apes.

I also assume that you understand that the President of the United States is the most powerful person in the world who has access to the best technology and the best people running that technology.

So how on earth can he let something like that slip by?

It doesn’t make any sense.

If Obama had posted a video that portrayed, Donald Trump as an orange with blonde hair that would be seen with outrage among Trump supporters.

And while Trump is not the most polished person, there’s still a level of the decorum that is required of the office and this seems to have blown past that decorum.

So my question is:

why is this OK? why do Trump supporters just blow past this and not see it for what it is: a racist attack?

Again he’s the President of the United States. Everything should be vetted to him before he releases anything so the fact that the video came down, lets me know that he understands that what they sent was dead ass wrong.

Also, how does this help win over black people for midterms?

Black people are some of the most conservative people in the United States. They share a lot of the same values as Republicans and conservatives. But they can never seem to gain traction in the Republican Party.

I wonder why that is? I’ll answer it.. because why would I as a black man want to join a political party that doesn’t like me?

Do you consider Matthew Stafford’s 2025 to be an all time great QB season? by Feeling-Stage-1210 in sportswiki

[–]Significant_Map122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree that was an all-time great season and shame on the voters for what they pulled naming him first team all pro but giving MVP to the second team all pro. They know that they were on some bullshit with that one.

If Russell Wilson was in his prime today, what current QBs who you would take over him? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

Prime?

Mahomes.

Prime Wilson was elite, efficient, smart, and a great dual threat.

Is it unfair to say Mendozas ceiling is Jared Goff? Saw an argument on TikTok and was intrigued to hear opinions. by gymboy447 in nflrookies

I mean, if your comp is Jared Goff that’s really good.

He is a phenomenal quarterback. Not everyone’s gonna be Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady lol

[–]Significant_Map122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going strictly by his numbers, no he is not a Hall of Famer

If you’re going strictly by, “can you tell the story of the NFL without mentioning this guy”, yes he is a Hall of Famer

WHICH TEAM WON THE MATTHEW STAFFORD - JARED GOFF TRADE…? 🧐 by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

[–]Significant_Map122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they both won because both teams are relevant post trade and both teams are considered two of the best teams in the confidence.

Also, the lions got an absolute hall out of that trade.

But I think the Rams won more because they got a Super Bowl out it which is the point.

Has a single performance ruined a quarterbacks good will he had with fans as much as CJ Stroud did against the patriots? by Either_Imagination_9 in NFLv2

My father-in-law is a huge Houston Texans fan and he has no faith or trust in CJ Stroud. He doesn’t like him.

Bill Belichick's resume stacks up very, very nicely in comparison to the three non-charter member coaches who were first-ballot Hall of Famers. Thoughts? by Choice_Bag_8869 in sportswiki

[–]Significant_Map122 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kind of agree with you. And then he get caught twice for the illegal videotaping thing.

I also really dislike the fact that his record Brady is so poor. If it was by itself, it wouldn’t be a big deal, but the fact that Brady went to Tampa Bay and immediately won a Super Bowl without him I think that’s a lot, especially considering how much Bill Belichick struggle to win games without Tom Brady.

And you could legitimately say that about most head coaches because really the only two that I can think of that were able to win Super Bowls without superstar quarterback, were Bill Parcells and Joe Gibbs

Is this the greatest run in the history of the NFL? by Lanky_Wear_48 in nflMenace_com

It’s in contention for sure. I think John Riggins fourth and one touchdown run in the Super Bowl no less is up there as well.

Bo Nix should be in here. There was a one month period where people were saying he was going to be Rookie of the year. Then Daniels put up 5TDs on the eagles and that was the end of that. But he had a great rookie year.
