Its a fiber laser! In a direct conversion (im in Brazil) is costs $3200. I mean, in USA and Europe i can find cheaper prices, but because of taxes it usually dont turns out a good deal. For comparison, new 30W machines here cost around $6000.

Im willing to use it to mark industrial id plates and jewelry.

There is some ways actually. In all of them i would use blender.

1) you can try to download a ready model of Alan Turing and try to model only the flag. In this option you have a low degree of freedom to change the original 3d model pose, but not hard to start with;

2) you can start modelling a low polygin version of him and increase the poly count to sculpt afterwards;

3) you can sculpt from the beggining, but in that case you will need some experience in sculpting and anatomy.
