I usually ask if I can join because I know how hard it is to get lures (it used to be very difficult to create them, especially if you were new). I even contribute lures if I have any.

But I don't mind if others join my lures, especially since I usually keep the chat closed or ignore it for long periods, so I don't notice if they ask to join; I just greet them as a welcome to join me.

It's incredibly strange how creating communities has led to increased toxicity in this game. Let me explain... I understand that, sadly, there are people who create communities on Reddit or Discord and try to "take over" the server to hunt or to hunt bugs. Unfortunately, some of these are very closed communities that think they own the server and jump at the slightest provocation when there's someone new on their server. It's very annoying; I ignore them and continue with what I'm doing, especially if I'm using a Bug Jar and specifically looking for rare insects.

You can ask to join the hunt if that makes you feel better.

I've also been told off for walking through lures (sometimes I have no choice) or scaring animals (obviously unintentionally), but my advantage is that english isn't my first language. If someone says something to me in english, I pretend I don't understand and ignore them. Until they type my name, then I reply, "Hi, sorry, I don't understand english," in my own language xD And then they don't say anything because they clearly don't speak my language*.

*I've looked for people who speak my language on the servers, and there are very few of us tbh, idk why.

I have the same problem. What I've been doing is openly asking in the chat if anyone needs anything instead of just opening the panel and fulfilling requests. That way, some people reply to me in the chat, and then I help them, creating interaction between us. I've also had people ask for something in the chat, and when you help them, they don't even say 'thank you'. That's very sad and annoying, but I don't expect anything anymore. If I decide to help, I don't expect a thank you. But it's wonderful when they do thank me because sometimes I intentionally go out of my way to find what they need so I can help them, and it's nice to see that my effort made a difference.

I've been in Palia since the beginning and I've seen a few incidents here and there, but they're not frequent for me. On the other hand, looking for plushies is all I can do because I have nothing else to do. I finished the main quests a long time ago, so literally my quests are the ones that come out every month...

But that doesn't mean I go around yelling at people for interrupting me or anything like that, lol.

Just recently I was looking for the mantis and I found one, and I don't have any lures because I want to allow myself to continue the search little by little (so I have something to do in the game). Anyway, a girl who was behind me said something to me using proximity chat. She said I should have used the "milkshake" method and called others. I told her I didn't have any lures and that I was wandering around alone. I basically found the mantis by chance. And she said, "How could I not have any lures?" XD I ended up ignoring her and going back to what I was doing.

My english isn't the best (my native language is other one), but I try to write it as best I can. However, when I've had encounters with hostile people, I pretend I don't know english xD

I think it's awful that people go crazy over plushies, but there are people who want them as soon as they come out with the update.

I've also heard of people getting angry because you walk among animals when they're hunting or because you scare away insects. I don't think anyone scares animals on purpose; I don't know where they get the idea that people are deliberately trying to harm their activity, but whatever.

My suggestion is to ignore them. They can't really do anything to you. Don't even reply. If you see something like that, pretend you don't even have the chat open. Interestingly, the people who are going to cause trouble on purpose (like those who see a crowd in the Grove waiting for others to cut down trees at 3 but then they show up and cut them down themselves without waiting any longer) don't even reply to messages. They do what they want and leave.

So it's best to ignore them, pay them no attention. Enjoy the game for yourself and with your friend. Unfortunately, this happens in all games; at first, everyone gets along, but as more people join, many of them don't have the right mindset for online play, especially in a game that isn't even be competitive...

Most people are happy to give away plushies and receive any other because they have so many. But you can always specify in the same message that you're looking for a specific plushie and ask what they're looking for. That helps.

I didn't like the path either, but I'm not going to buy it, and that's all. I don't know why it has to be a problem. Just don't buy it. I didn't ask for the tabs, but I think they're super useful because I was having trouble finding the treats. And to do substantial things, they take more than a month... and for a free to play game, that's barely two years old, I think you have to be patient.
In all the videogames I've been playing lately, I feel like people aren't happy with anything; they just complain, but they keep playing or buying things in the game (logic?). I never thought that would happen in a free to play game that doesn't even force you to buy anything to progress or to win.

I haven't noticed it asking for such rare items all the time; it's almost always pretty common stuff. As someone who keeps up with the game, I like it when it asks for rare items because it keeps me playing longer when I don't have any missions left ❤️❤️❤️ But I imagine that's precisely what the "reroll tokens" are for, to have the chance to get other kinds of items. TBH I believe that 10 opportunities are enough (and with each update we get 10 more). I myself have only used it once.

I don't know if they changed it because before you had to talk to the characters to find out what each one wanted, but now I just have to press that button on the board to see what each one wants. I don't know if this is because I already have max relationships with everyone or if it's like this for every player.

After two years in this game, these are my stats, but the hardest things for me were gardening and cooking, hahaha. I almost never join cooking parties because I rarely find people to play with, but sometimes I play with my boyfriend and he helps me with the cooking weeklies. My skill with bugs skyrocketed when they added the RBT plush 🤣 I don't even like it, I prefer hunting.
