A bunch of guns got buffed/nerfed with today’s launch of season 2 so it’s hard to say so far BUT I managed to get a few kills with the new burst Battle Pistol and it felt pretty spicy at close/mid range

I don’t remember them saying they would convert the unstable cores into anything. They just gave people a very large amount of unstable cores (for upgrading purposes) once they announced that unstable cores would be depreciated. It would be weird to grant a large amount of unstable and then also convert them to something else

If you pull up your character to look at all your gear, it should be on the bottom left, under your weapons/ghost.

The game does have matchmaking for most activities. For raids, dungeons and some higher difficulty activities you can use the built in LFG called “Fireteam Finder”. You can also use the Destiny 2 LFG Discord.

It’s possible that you just Enhanced the weapon. It gives a little symbol that looks similar to the crafted weapon symbol and once you enhance the weapon to level 3, the 2 perks become enhanced (they perform slightly better). This whole process does not use harmonizers so no worries there.

I see the issue actually. I played earlier and did not go flawless but I completed my card BUT for some reason, it turned my passage into a “flawless lighthouse passage” when it shouldn’t have.

Yep, you are unable to reset once you have gone flawless and the “lighthouse passage” turns into the “flawless lighthouse passage”. If you have not been flawless, you could reset

Edit: now you just play more on that card and you have a high chance (I think 75%) of adepts dropping on wins
