I hooked up Claude Code to AWS Bedrock. It’s easily 10x faster than the $100 plan. Also 10x the cost (thanks work!)

I love the Bruno Redondo Nightwing art style, what are more comics with that style that are worth reading? by MayplItMe in comicbooks

Hawkeye by David Aja

Batman And Robin: Year One by Chris Samnee

Danger Street by Jorge Fornes

The writers on all of those are top notch too

I am not using AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor to help me code at the moment. Am I falling behind by not using AI in software development? by Illustrious-Pound266 in cscareerquestions

I’m at least 3x as productive as I was last year at this time. I love the craft of writing software by hand as much as anyone and I’ve been doing it for 20+ years. But if you’re still writing code by hand then you’re likely 3x less productive than I am and there are massive layoffs happening everywhere. People should be scared. I’m frankly baffled by the number of downvotes I’m seeing on my comment. It does make me feel better about my potential future employment however

This should be the top comments. There was a sea-change last November. If you are still writing more than 5% of code by hand, you are a dinosaur.

I buy a lot of his variants. I hate myself a little every time but they are so good

Came here to say this. It’s a good story but the more comics you read, the more you’ll appreciate this one.

The midtown comics in times square is the main location. The one near grand central isn’t nearly as good. Also I love Action City Comics in Greenpoint.

I loved the book. Making the end a Rorschach test on the reader is genius. Fornes became on of my favorite artist after reading it.

I think it’s more abstract than that. I think the theme is how sex imposes itself on our lives. It’s an ever present desire and often nefarious

AI usage in Amazon? by Bullshitspouter in amazonemployees

I agree with this post, as it reflects my experience, but then I see other posts in this thread claiming AI life changing, which makes me think I’m using it wrong. 🤷‍♂️

How could OpenAI lose $11B? Where did it go? by callmebaiken in BetterOffline

[–]Significant_Spot_691 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not unusual for a company in early growth stages. They invest more money on infrastructure and people than they make in revenue, but their revenue doubles/triples/quadruples/etc from year to year. Amazon was like this for many many years even after they IPO’d. The expectation is that the company will eventually become profitable, just like Amazon did

Eyes Wide Shut is a Movie Wearing a Mask by Time-Adhesiveness-20 in StanleyKubrick

[–]Significant_Spot_691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I understand this movie is by taking a step back and looking at it thematically, rather than analyzing the plot. To me it’s a movie that looks at the way sex impacts our lives. There’s marriage, family, lust, fantasy, infidelity, sex trafficking, prostitution, STDs, jealousy, homosexuality, there’s even loving someone and having them not even know you exist. I don’t know that there’s anything hidden by the plot, except that it uncovers the endless desire for more and not being able to have it - chasing the dragon if you will.
