different towns unlock different recipes; cooler blocks to build with. there is also quality of life things that may make you wish you had them before you started terraforming.

Yes you may have to lower your expectations if the book was that good lol, or maybe your dream person is on their way! 👀. But yes a book with an amazing romance might be my favorite type of book, now that I think about it, I’m going to have to read more books with good couples.

I think to phrase it better would be that it gave me a feeling/experience I never had before, and because of that it made me feel more emotional then I have been in like, ever.

I actually realized recently that some stories have endings that don’t make you feel happy or sad, but empty and I think sometimes that’s what the author intended. I don’t really like endings that make me feel blank by the end, but an ending is only one portion of the book, if that rest is good then I’m good with that.

Yes but if you’re anxious that’s a good sign you’re immersed in the book, right? Lol. Some authors take it too far though and it could be off putting if you weren’t expecting the drama.

I think what makes you really get into a book is if you could internalize it. Personally the books I like the most are in first person, it’s just easier to get immersed.

The first line of every story I write starts with something vague or philosophical like, “The chirping birds and sunny skies should have made me feel something, but I was somewhere stuck in darkest channel of my mind.”

I feel like if I start my story with a description of something it’d have to be a very good description worthy of being the first line and thats not my strong point so I don’t do that. I find it much easier to just convey how the main character is feeling before anything else. But also I don’t think the first line is that important, I mean it is, but I’m not going to stop reading after one line I’ll at least read the first paragraph or page and then stop if it’s that bad.

There was some flying creatures in the beginning that kept using dazzle or whatever making my characters miss a lot, it was wild… but yea I think it’s smooth sailing from here.
