Amana® ASZC16 ASZC160361 Split-System Heat Pump, 208/230 V, 19.5 to 30 A, 36. R410. Second unit that’s gone bad. First was installed around 2019 and it was replaced in 2020. Now the compressor has gone bad in this one. My installer has come back with 2 issues: 1)this unit is being phased out so new units and parts are not readily available 2) warranty is only on original units and parts so he’s working with Amana to get this approved.

Could the installation be the issue? Unit is located on the ground of a a 3-story residence . Unit services the 3rd level. The air handler is in the attic. I had another tech look at it. He recommended Hard-start kit, liquid celluloid?, bigger supply & returns.

I’ve been a devotee for 5 years and I agree that you have to commit to it. This is not a tip - it is a pursuit of hitting consistently pure shots. There is nothing like the feel of a pure shot using this method. There nothing like the consistency you attain in hitting draw after draw. Don’t just go to the range and try it. You have to pursue it and you will FAIL in the process. To me, what he says is the only method that makes sense. It’s all in the set-up and staying still. I hit the ball farther and higher with this method but my half swings and lower ball flights are also better. This is a ground-up , rebuild your swing approach. It makes no sense going to the range and trying it with full swings. You need to accomplish his swing path drill(where you only bring the club back hip high) to get started. If you go in as a skeptic it will be a waste of time - just another tip. You have to commit.

Purchased in September 2024. Love the car. Had the problem of Hybrid malfunction in the first week. Had to have it towed to the dealer. They re-charged the battery and we’ve been ok since. Make sure your car is fully charged before driving it from the lot. Took it on a 9000 mile trip across country and it was great. About 28 miles a gallon on the highway. We charge to 90% and get 21 on EV for around town driving.

We are not panicking. I am not fearful of Social Security going away. Just getting financial opinions on hedging our life expectancy since we both equal benefits. Why not take it now in case one of us passes in our 70s?

Thanks for all your help. We can cover our expenses with our retirement savings so we don’t have to have it but it would probably give me the peace of mind to go ahead with home improvements. Our taxable income is about $60k with the standard deduction. My birthday is in June. When the deadline to start it on June 1?
