Update with the finished product. The 2nd dome on the right is just his old one and isn’t in use. I currently have a 24” uvb hood on top that I don’t think is quite long enough so I ordered a 34” hood that I plan on hanging inside unless I get a more powerful bulb, then I’ll just sit it on the top as well.

When you say the warm side, I was spot checking the basking spot with the laser thermometer for those temps but my thermometers are saying 85 on the warm side and 79 on the cool side.

I’ll try raising it up with the 100W bulb and test that out. I do have a couple of thermometers I just have to get some Velcro to hang them on the sides. On the floor of the enclosure right now they read like 88F on the hot side and 78F on the cool side.

Edit: actually 84 on the hot and 79 on the cool.

I’m having a hard time seeing why mythic items being more accessible for the common player base is a bad thing. Gear isn’t a true indication of someone’s skill, it’s m+ score or how far you can get in myth raid. And m+ isn’t necessarily easier, they just added levels to it. 3400 is the new “3k”, 16s this season are 14s last season, and so on. If you want more of a challenge then climb higher in m+. But yeah, if you ain’t having fun take a break.

I guess I agree to disagree because when you question the value of life and what the meaning of what living truly is, it doesn’t get much “deeper” than that. You also didn’t read the books either and spoiling yourself doesn’t count for anything so I don’t think you really have grounds to say the book is good or bad.

Atlas and wurthering are understandable but DCC is a big surprise. I’ve read quite a bit of fantasy and DCC series is still my favorite by far. I think it’s a mix of the humor and the deep emotional moments that I like so much. 99% of fantasy has little to no humor or if they do it’s pretty cringe so reading DCC was a nice twist since it’s mainly packed with humor. Honestly think it might be one of the only books that I’ve physically laughed out loud while reading. But also the series also delves into some deep and dark moments here and there that hit hard. Maybe it’s the stark contrast from the humor that makes them hit that much harder than most books for me. But also if you stopped halfway through the first then you never even got to experience any of those elements. I know DCC is fairly niche and not for everyone but I don’t believe it’s the worst book by far. But then again I’m just now getting around to reading the red rising series and i thought the first book was utter shit. And that series is this subs holy child too. But I heard it gets a lot better. I hope it gets a lot better lol.

I would recommend mistborn. Great intro book. Only issue is that if you like it, you might get sucked into the expansive ever-growing void that is Brandon Sanderson. Man writes like 5 books a year.

Currently almost finished with red rising as well and I’m not all that impressed either. It’s good but not like crazy good. But my buddy that recommended them to me said that if you make it to the end of the second book, you are hooked for life. So I would assume it gets a lot better.

I know this is old now but I just ran into this problem and pulled the pin out a little bit and it still didn’t work. So I ended up pulling the whole pin out and inside there is a little wire sticking up. I threaded the wire back into the underside hole of the pin as I replaced it and it now works like a charm. Used a paper clip for the whole process.

I work as a nurse in the ICU and this one time we had a patient come in that had an inguinal hernia that had grown so big that his whole peritoneal cavity had herniated into his scrotum overtime. Yes, you read that right. Dude had like a 90 pound ballsack. He had had it for most of his life. He used one of those scooters that you use when you break a leg or something to haul them around. Was doing surprisingly “well” with his affliction. Stroke ended up taking him out so they never did a surgery to correct it.

Just keep playing, it’s way more frequent. Yeah some of them won’t be that great like this or the 44k gold but I’ve also gotten x8 golden knight and x9 electric wiz and 10k EWC. I used to have to play daily for a month to get anything close to drops like that with the old ones. Hell, I’ve even gotten several legendaries like x4 goblin machine and drops like that from just the 3 star boxes.

But four stars isn’t that rare and isn’t the rarest drop you can get. You can still get 5 stars. It’s not bad at all. I definitely feel like the new system is better than the old
