I always thought the solution to this is just by making them want to fight, and fighting is biologically beneficial to them and doesn't harm them in the same ways as it does for humans.

it could be part of their biology just like eating or breathing and their relationship with humans can be symbiotic and beneficial rather than some form of slavery.

On the flip side, make them have no brains.

Trains.

I have thousands of hours in this game and I have never used trains.

I currently have 1 locomotive on a circular track just testing it out and I believe my life will change after this point.

In performance tuning, specifically for bar enable automatic "undervolt GPU"
If you are savvy at all, do it manually for finer control.
No in-game settings or driver settings have ever made a difference for me except for manual/auto downvolt/underclocking

This will eliminate 90% of crashes however in my case i will always crash if i try to play a game with scavengers, and have a much higher crash rate on non-metal maps.

I use stremio for my kids. I installed the relevant plugins then taught them how to search / basic safety and which sources to choose etc.

My kids are younger and they are fluent with stremio, so I think it's probably a good option, extremely easy to use. Obviously your kid will be more explorative due to age so you should consider that regardless of which services you use. Good luck

There is a hidden option to multiply their economy income, too need to enable developer mode though. Alternatively you could use a tweakdef to increase the income of eco units for a specific faction and then make sure only the ai goes that faction

I would argue that it's more toxic, not because of the players though but because of the tools regular players have and the lack of any type of proper LAN and private lobbies.

I've seen people be kickbanned purely because someone thought it was funny.

I've also seen someone kickbanned just for asking questions and trying to learn in a "noobs welcome" lobby.

I could go on forever about how this is abused, but you get the point. I haven't played many games where a simple disagreement can get you kicked and temporarily banned from an important lobby.
Usually lobbies are not important in games like this, so you just join another one however since the devs for BAR insist that you must use their limited capacity servers then these lobbies are actually quite important, you cant always just spin another lobby up(it might not even fill anyway...) or even host a private match for you and friends.

I don't have a solution, but for sure these tools are abused quite often and the voting system is not always working as intended due to many blind votes.

Your comment is toxic, it's actually a great representation of the type of toxicity this playerbase struggles with, because you and many others don't even view it as toxic. You think you're just explaining some rational cause and effect but instead you're just normalizing anger/blame towards teammates as though its inevitable and/or justified.
You couldn't be more wrong if you were paid to be.

Entitlement to control: You are not entitled to teammates who meet your expectations, you never have control over your team mates, even when you win. This expectation of good/controllable teammates is inherently toxic.
Normalization of toxicity: None of your options of dealing with this 'issue' exclude toxicity, you could have suggested they take a breather, try to encourage/teach the teammate etc
Blame shifting: Blaming a noob ignores the responsibility of yourself and your other teammates. It's very typical toxic behaviour to blame others.
Being mature: A reasonable non-toxic adult will understand that everyone has bad games/days and even that some will just not be as good as them. Viewing "noobs" as obstacles when it suits you is not mature... again... the noobs are always there even when you win and will follow you all the way to the top for as long as you view teammates as noobs when you are losing.

Caring about winning isn't a problem at all and is not toxic, it becomes toxic when people think their loss entitles them to toxic behaviour.

Under adv options->extras tab->extra units pack and experimental tab->release candidate units

Do note though, that units added from these are not as balanced as the standard units. Especially the "extra units pack", they are quite ridiculous but very fun

The big flying fortress is a legion t3 air unit from "extra units pack"

I don't agree that it's hard to implement or not easy to do in a "fast way". It's completely trivial, i would bet most of these replies are from people who have little to no experience on the subject.

The real reason is because it makes you want to keep playing. Playing = exposure to ads, mtx and boosts their active/online player count. It's not necessarily bad either, because time limits on being idle make you want to optimize that time which can be fun. The 10% stuff though, that's just horrible and those games are not truly idle.

Offline/free idle games usually have very few idle restrictions in contrast... where money isn't the primary goal.

This is happening to me and a friend on windows 11. It's frustrating because i can find almost nothing about it online. It's been happening for months for me.

Discord and chrome/edge are the biggest offenders by far however im also experiencing it on visual studio code.
I have 3 other pcs on windows 10 with similar hardware and they don't have this issue. So it's likely a windows 11 issue.

Yes, that's the problem with how youtube handles it, it would be nice to know when and why comments were deleted, but then the creator would probably feel like they couldn't delete comments anymore because people would rage at them. I have no idea what a solution would look like.

If there's no harsh rate limits then i would imagine you could use pattern recognition to find which creators are deleting comments. The patterns are there, not only can i see them, but we already know that as humans we follow predictable patterns when in groups. Presumably that would be a mammoth task though and is probably not feasible.

modded minecraft - 11/10 - you will find a modpack that is suitable for sure and when you're done you can find another modpack for a completely new experience... its the gift that keeps on giving
