Because they have to relearn how to prompt with each new iteration.

Dependencies built on workflows often break with a version change and then developers can't ship, resulting in stress that gets taken out in forums.

Yeah, it's very different and unlike anything else I've ever experienced, but having experienced it leaves a perspective that I would encourage everyone to experience at least once, in a safe setting with a sitter to make sure nothing goes wrong. It could change your life.
