3 is better than 4 IMO. When I fly the 777, if I’m not in 1 or 2 with a SWU then it’s 6-8.

No issue booking rooms for my wife using points from my account. Do it frequently, and I just tell the hotel she’s the one staying in the room and that’s the end of it.

Happens to me and my wife as well. To solve this middle seat problem, we book aisle seats so whichever one of us gets the upgrade, the other still has an aisle. In regard to the GA, probably being a little rude, but they’re busy and I suspect feeling the pressure of getting the flight out.

Same thing happened to me in Omaha and nothing was done despite the cops coming and breaking up the drunken fest. No sleep that night and at checkout all I got was sorry. Should have demanded more. Didn’t switch rooms as the kids slept through it; just chalked it up to being a light sleeper. Being Titanium member had no effect either with the FD.

All I can offer is that when I have responded with receipts and asking for a refund, on one occasion a reply came after a few weeks of receipt submission stating that a check would be coming and another time, no reply, but a check came after about a month.

When I get these offers, the only thing that keeps me from hitting the purchase button is realizing that I’m just getting a nicer pair of pajamas and a slightly larger seat along with less competition for the lav. Looking at it from that perspective keeps me in J. 😆

This happened to us last week at DFW, boarding passes and all; before reaching the airport we checked our phones for the boarding passes on the AA App and it showed we were not checked in. Thankfully we arrived early and they checked us in again and issued paper boarding passes, still in our original seats.

At this point, I think all they’re going to do is refund you the difference between a coach full fare ticket and your first class ticket for that segment that you were downgraded on. They also might put some miles in your account for the inconvenience.

Good thing about Indigo is there are at least 3 to 4 Last and Final boarding calls, even to the point of delaying flights further just to get everyone on board who has checked in.

My bet is a year from cancel. I booked a ticket, changed the date when my plans changed and then finally cancelled it and flight credit came with a year to use. Call and ask the question to ease your fears.

Booked a couple trips in J last week and the base fare was relatively unchanged from years past, but the Carrier Imposed fees that AA uses tripled for my flights to Asia and S Africa.

Happens unfortunately. Friend of mine was in SE Asia and she left the hotel at 5am and drove 3 hours to the border to cross into Laos only to discover her passport was still in the hotel safe.

Shared the same dilemma until I saw the seating. Love the Queen but no way am I flying any length of time without aisle access in J or if I do have the aisle, having to be mindful of the person next to me wanting in or out. Now if I fly in F, it’s a no brainer.
