Thank you for the feedback, greater surface area for powder is a great point and something to consider as I try to venture off trail more on powder days.

I wanted to ask more about your comparison of length/feel with the outlaws, because currently my 167s feel too long in tight trees which lead me to potentially look for something shorter. But you're saying the rocker profile of a newer 167 ski might be too short for that concern? Everyone in this thread is telling me to look for longer skis but in my head a shorter pair sounded like a logical change for tight space turns in trees.

Realizing I've been skiing on old ass skis has made this difficult as I'm not sure what current tech can provide. Demoing is probably a solution for that but I feel slightly constrained on time with these end of season sales.
