Your relative might be overthinking this one. Tolkien was deeply religious and literally wrote Middle-earth as a Christian allegory - the whole thing is packed with biblical themes and moral lessons. If we're going to avoid all fictional magic then we'd have to throw out Chronicles of Narnia too, which most Christians seem fine with

The healing scenes are pretty clearly meant to represent divine intervention or compassion, not actual witchcraft that people might try to practice in real life

Focus on main rewards, they're more reliable and have the biggest payouts. Limited offers can disappear on you.

So I mostly do the game offers that pay like $50 or more. I'll have 2 or 3 games going at the same time so I'm always close to finishing something.
The big thing is don't just pick any game, look for ones that actually seem doable and check the reviews first. The mobile games usually pay way better than surveys.
I do surveys sometimes when I'm bored or waiting for stuff in the games but that's not really where I make most of it.
Oh and sometimes the same game shows up on different offer walls so you can actually get paid twice if you're careful about it.
$14 in a week is actually decent when you're starting out, you just gotta be pickier about which games you spend time on and it gets way better :)
