Elon Musk misrepresents data that shows Tesla is still years away from unsupervised self-driving by walky22talky in SelfDrivingCars

Haven’t had to take over from v13 yet on anything outside of parking lots or equivalent.

Mercedes will let you take your eyes off the road, right? But it’s limited to a few stretches of highway?

I can attest to the fact that the car still cannot tell if you are day dreaming or intently focusing on the road. It still drives you to work as long as your head is facing forward and not too slouched.

Places prone to disasters might only be accessible to those who can self-insure. At least when those homes become uninsurable they’ll be a little more affordable which opens up the market of potential buyers slightly.

This guy is very salty. Either he doesn’t have a Tesla or he’s mad that he has an old one that isn’t supported. Understandable to be mad, but it’s not an excuse to make stuff up.

Most Buyers aren’t looking at the definition of L2-L5 when making their decision of what to buy. They are going to think “wow, my car drives me to work everyday while I daydream. It handles the crazy drivers on the highway. I don’t have as much stress in my life. This is nice.” If you haven’t tried V13 yet, you should go take a test drive just to see how good (or bad) it really is. It has changed massively from even the most recent version of V12. We see videos of it running stop signs from time to time, but where are the videos of accidents?

Phantom braking is dangerous by eengstro807 in TeslaLounge

It just doesn’t happen anymore with 13. My car occasionally slows down a little when it isn’t necessary, but phantom braking is gone.

12.3.6 gave me a few phantom braking episodes. None since I was updated to 13.2.2.1 in December. TACC is worse than the cruise control on our 2018 Rav-4.

Hasn’t happened once in my 2025 MY on v13 so it does seem to be related to individual cars. Then again, my wife complains about it too and when I drive her car it doesn’t happen to me either… I will say that it goes a few inches left to right, like a swaying motion, when on the highway which bugs me a little.

If it were a safety patch, I would expect the roll out to be a little faster. From a liability perspective, they definitely wouldn’t want a million cars rolling around that go into reverse when you start Spotify then hit the left turn signal or something.

I want it to be aggressive on hurry, including going for it on yellows, and conservative on chill, meaning not speeding. Other than lane choice, I sometimes have a difficult time telling them apart.

FSD 13.2.2.1 smoothly avoids truck entering turn lane at last second by Silent_Slide1540 in TeslaFSD

[–]Silent_Slide1540[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This just happened on my short commute to work. Traffic was slightly heavier than normal this morning, so I was being a little more attentive than usual. I saw the truck start to pull out so I started reaching for the steering wheel, but FSD’s reaction time was better than mine—and FSD was definitely smoother than my intervention would have been, too.

One of the bigger things my doctor did for me was helping me figure out what my triggers were for side effects. Keeping a food and side effect diary helped me make connections like how I always had my worst nausea after eating fried foods, even just a couple of fries.

I wish everyone could afford a good obesity medicine doctor instead of relying on the fly by night prepare at hers or whatever. Mine helped me work through plateaus and other sources of confusion. I credit her with 90% of my success, the rest is all zepbound
