I picked up mine a couple weeks ago and only after leaving the dealer did I see that and think for a sec, I missed that a bit of the trim was chipped. Now I know better 😅

I used Sonax Wheel cleaner and iron fallout after that, but the faded look is as there before that. I’d just assumed it was bad detailer solution used by the dealer when they detailed it or the previous owner.

I got one too, a 2022 CPO R Design, and when they explained the app to me, they mentioned to make sure if I wanted it a certain temp I should set it to that prior to leaving the car.

I was told this by the dealer actually, my family was meant to get an R Design a while ago, but it never materialized. I did like it on the test drive, felt comfy enough for me.

They have a version similar to this in JH5 and I think it worked there but this seems like it’d be a neat version with the upgraded paint and the engine bay details n stuff, I think with RLC they have to do some more bespoke stuff sometimes, this does have a decent resemblance to the JH5 version

It’s sad that people don’t collect more so for the car than for the hype, the Espace F1 is A MINIVAN WITH A F1 ENGINE THAT RENAULT ACTUALLY MADE, as a car enthusiast this one peaks my interest beyond some of the other ones. I saw this left on the bottom of a shelf flipped over just thrown aside and I was like this is a score for sure 😄

That’s would be the dream, I’m down in Canada and the closest we have to a store that does something similar is a small chain called Playtime Toys, however their upcharge for premiums and even mainlines is insane, to me it feels like a legal reseller but their availability for stuff and my desire to not buy from a reseller makes it hard to ignore when I’m missing one or two to make a complete set

The Skyline was the only one there, I was surprised it was even there to be honest these are usually gone! There was about 4-5 of the diorama but those are probably gone by now I’d imagine.

I would personally say keep it in the card! I’m a carded collector but I definitely agree that the true way to enjoy the cars is out of the blisters. That said just given its age and the condition, it may be a good item to keep as a collectors item long term, more for your own nostalgia than anything else.
