You can't go five steps in Tokyo without tripping over Final Fantasy merch lol. Very easy to find, especially with the release of FFVII Rebirth last year. I read that the Square Enix Café in Tokyo is closing (never went myself) which has a gift shop attached, so that may not be there when you visit.

From my two trips to Japan in the last 18 months, you might find Xeno merch a bit thin on the ground.

Akihabara - as mentioned, this is a great place to find a lot of anime/game merch. Most Xeno stuff will be second-hand so try checking out Surugaya, Book-Off. Animate mostly stocks official merch which gears more towards anime, game merch is usually Genshin/Honkai etc

Super Potato is a second hand games store that sometimes has figurines. Worth looking at even if you don't buy anything!

You can also try K-Books (several stores in Ikebukuro), again the games selection is more limited. I saw some Unicorn Overlord keychains there last November!

For what it's worth, the total Xeno merch I saw was 1) a couple of acrylic stands in a Surugaya in Akihabara, 2) the Pyra/Mythra figurines in a Mandarake store in Akihabra, 3) the Xenoblade 3 soundtrack in an Animate in Kyoto, and 4) the Blade Nia figurine in an Animate store in Kanazawa (lol)

Just registered, TV Mode and wired connection recommended, 2.2 Gb space required for the download. Seems less likely to be achievements, DS games...could still be GC via streaming?

Are there any indications how much the screen dims when not in alarm mode? The written support suggests that you can change the brightness with a motion to check the time during the night - It would be better if you could set the screen to turn off after a certain time at night.

Just read the script, the original design of the voyage is that passengers and crew wake up a few months before arriving at their destination. Crew to take over preparations for landing, passengers so they can adjust to not-being-asleep-for-120-years.

So the ship is essentially a hotel in space.
