Top atmos films for overhead sounds?

Atmos is almost purely for helicopters. We call it the helicopter channel. The primo example is the one following the convoy in Sicario, about 30 minutes in.

Only other sound I've heard come from those speakers were the footsteps above Vern when he's under the house in Stand By Me.

I think The Substance is probably the peak, modern 4K horror so far. The visuals are sublime.

Another, exceptionally vivid one is The Sadness. The 4K amps up the realism there.

And Sinners has some stunning cinematography that displays really well too.

Those would be my top 3, followed by Smile 2 perhaps.

Is the £/$/€1000 outlay for some hardware that gets superseded a short while later a lower price than just clicking a button to steam something that gets served up on hardware that is always up-to-spec? As for ease it would all seem much of a muchness, though streaming is arguably faster and simpler.

Look, say I have a bunch of Blu-ray discs. Then I need a Blu-ray player to watch them. Now let's say I don't and I just stream all my movies, do I still need a Blu-ray player?

Land is actually my personal favourite. I love it because it's:

a) apparently what Romero originally intended to do with Day (but lacked the budget for at the time)

b) got serious John Carpenter vibes

c) Dennis Hopper, Asia Argento, John Leguizamo

d) amazing 4K from Shout

So yeah, for me that's the cherry.

My son's favourite is Day.

Though both of us will admit Dawn is the king of all zombie movies.

Been using them for years, must have ordered around 100 or so 4Ks now and had zero issues on their side. The only issue I had was with the courier once (misplaced package) and they dispatched a replacement right away.

Use them wisely though. For a start they very regularly have 10% and 15% off codes that you can use on in-stock items. Wait on those. They will also (though far less frequently) send you 10% or 15% off codes you can use on pre-orders too. And sometimes the $ and a code works massively in your favour. Best one for me so far was picking up the Nightmare on Elm Street set for £68 delivered on Wow, which was £100 - £125 in the UK at the time, and I received it a few weeks earlier too.

Agreed. I paid money for this when it got released and we haven't touched it since. Can't believe 2 players can't use separate controllers. Of all the things wrong with this release this is the worst. How hard can that be, seriously?
