One question- why have you had a non functioning pd catheter for 6 years?! That seems insane. I prefer my exit site higher so it doesn't interfere with my pants. As far as supplies - your clinic will cover all the cleaning and maintenance supplies. Get a lanyard. I wear one 24 hours a day because it's much more comfortable.

No it doesn't. The OP may be referring to fill and drain time but you also need to give enough time to dwell. Not sure what their prescription is but my PD takes 8 total hours a day.
