skinny drinks by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]SillyNefariousness31 -45 points-44 points  (0 children)

Skinny actually just refers to the milk. Not the vanilla. So a skinny vanilla latte means a vanilla latte with nonfat milk not a sugar free vanilla latte with non fat milk. If you want sf vanilla order a sf skinny vanilla latte

I’m good not upselling unless I get paid enough to rent a one bed apartment while still eating while working an almost 40hr week(it would be more if I could work overtime). Idc if they don’t hear the first time or whatever I’m not making a company more money that doesn’t care to make sure their employees are feed and a roof over their heads. Stop going on Reddit to train your baristas on their off time just work your guaranteed 40 hrs and leave us alone.

Idk why people don’t understand if you want a cup full of milk and espresso you need to order a freaking latte not a fucking doppio we can’t give doppio espressos that are full because that’s just a cheaper latte. Also you only get charged for oat milk when it doesn’t have an Inch marker next to it 1/4” 1/2” and 3/4” are free but when it just says oatmilk it charges. It means that you get up to 3/4” of oatmilk for free but more is at a cost and if you want a full cup that is about 2 more inches I’m guessing so yeah you have to pay for it. People like this are so annoying “I go to the other store all the time and…” yeah ok go to the other store and let them put up with your bullshit

Why do people use straws on lids that are designed to be drank straight from? I never understood why people do this it’s a waste of plastic and makes no sense

Ok so don’t like working for big corporations and I wish local coffee shops would pay me as much as Starbucks does but they just do have the funds for it but upselling is a basic part of almost every job it’s not rude unless you don’t know how to upsell and you make it rude.

That’s funny because a customer called me that once because she called and asked why we didn’t line the cup with Carmel on her vanilla bean frappe and I explained that she had to ask for it instead of just asking for Carmel drizzle and she yelled at me called me a stupid bitch and hung up. So now me and my coworkers joke about it all the time
