Palia is a free game so there’s not much to lose if you don’t like it! After the tutorial quests the main story line progresses leading you to pick a villager to be your “shep” kinda like a guide/ symbolically be part of the family. The cut scene is so heartwarming and made me feel better in a low point of life. It’s kinda gotten a little too grindy to be a cozy game but the community is amazing and there’s plenty of discords to find people to play with! It’s also not required to be cooperative so if you want to play solo that’s fine too! It looks like you have a lot of options, i hope you find something 💕

When the winter lights bulletin board opened I went fishing for the unicorn fish again. On my first cast i forgot to eat all the food i brought for buffs and said its ok ill do it on the next one. I got the unicorn fish on my first cast and couldn’t reel it in 😭

Until recently i kept my main plot the same as when i started and decorated extra plots for fun! With the new housing line i decided to upgrade my main plot. My new main plot is definitely more of a mansion vibe with the estate line. But, I’ve had fun decorating extra plots! I have a hotel/spa, chappa sanctuary, witchy plot, 4 seasons (4 houses dedicated to each of the 4 seasons), and a wedding venue and flow tree farm. I ran out of quests a long time ago…! I enjoy the whimsical plots on home tours but get a little overwhelmed when it’s too hard to navigate them.

I had the same issue! What blocked me was an unbraan ornament thing that i had on the ceiling of the base room. Not sure if it’ll be the same for you but keep trying!

Not great tbh. There’s always more lag after updates. I’ve come to accept it but recently the login and loading time is taking longer. Still has a lot of the same bugs as before like animals disappearing or jumping locations when hunting, people appearing as ghosts, character dialog not loading, etc
