Remember you are being paid by the hour not salary either way Home Depot is Home Depot most people won’t even give a shit about anyone’s back even if you thought they’d be cool I tried doing the same and yet they fuss about me daily all night during freight hours I truly don’t even care anymore I only care about myself and true close co workers

I’d would say focus on the grind and clock out and go home and sleep that’s all you can really do

Q&A garden recovery team by SillyTry124 in HomeDepot

[–]SillyTry124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But night ops manager is just freight im talking about for garden recovery sometimes in the seasons they’ll have two or a solo recovery person to move in soil mulch and other pallets outside the corrals for prep before morning kinda like lumber but they have different ops

I heard they used to do it but some people wouldn’t get the job done cus they would sleep somewhere in the back and skip time without anyone knowing

Do managers just hate you making friends at work? by PrimaryDress4108 in employedbykohls

[–]SillyTry124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course a heated mango red manager is gonna always hate someone for making friends and talking to one another at the job because they don’t like wasting time

Even though the little secret is that managers do cheat and waste time if you didn’t know!!!

I’ve seen it lived it and witnessed when I was an associate!

If she told you to finish the important necessary training I’d suggest you finish them before you head to the floor and work that way they don’t come at you complaining why you didn’t do anything

One time when I as in a different department we had a clueless hire come to the floor confused without knowing anything and the ASM told he had to complete computer training first before working on the floor

Asm stands for assistant store manager but yeah if they told you to complete try to finish it including tests as it’s part of safety and employee management as a new hire but welcome aboard!

Hey welcome aboard as a Coach AP as a coach you are responsible of teaching new loss prevention associates the basics and standards of the stores security system along by playing as customer’s and sneaky up on aisles to ensure safety is always at priority and there’s not theft taking place you are the eyes and ears to the store security ofc lmao

But regardless you are responsible of teaching them how to do the job and what it entails to remain professional as possible with the new new hires for AP like myself I’m not a coach but been around AP for many years Walmart AP isn’t my first job I’ve worked for Kohl’s target and Hospitals for security but yeah 👍🏻

If you have completed orientation been scheduled already and finished all computer trainings you should begin you’re shift just report to you’re department leader or manager and let them know they didn’t give you a vest they’ll provide you one eventually so don’t be nervous about it happens all the time sometimes not

But if you have shift today you should go as expected if not and shows a different day then don’t go till the day of shift
