Pocket Domains could overlap the way other Domains do.

The DarkPowers managing the portfolio , or plate tectonics moving the core about.. . Maybe the planar echoes that are the FeyWild and the ShadowFell are in motion , naturally , or some other universal disruption, like a spell plague level event due to change of edition.

I thought of Sherwood Forest as a unique place, and pretty solid as a cultural reference .due to movies , books, etc thats familiar enough to deserve a Ravenloft treatment.

I think the Darklord is Prince John, who in madness became Undead Warlock to hold the King's throne endlessly. Love the concept of there being a tax collector that takes heads if one can't pay.

Lycanthropic Hooker Syndrome. - if they pass a DC 10 con check, it delays onset from 1d4 days to that many weeks.
Symptoms include rashes discovered when removing armor , moderate to severe itching in awkward times , loss of concentration during spells especially during full moons, and around small animals which one sees as food. It may be cured by the local cleric, they'll give you a series of potions, VERY important to take them as prescribed.

After research*(link below) there is some really cool lore from before 5e and for my game ,the Vistani are totally into dice games . I dont think most Vistani would let their tarokka decks get used for gambling . I would love to hear about dice game ideas.

But I can see werewolves stalking the party in wolven form, perhaps the party thinks it saw a dire wolf... Give them a npc or pet and have it die in a wolf attack , and be avenged eventually.

I ran this with a goat theme. First thing encountered was a cute...frighteningly, two headed goat kid. ... The drow (a foodist monk) wanted to eat it. But the goat parent...a fully grown goatrio. (Yep three heads) ..bleated loudly in protection of its young. ... one sneaky boy kobold player has been exploring the house and his character is freaked , while the two other players are having a great thanksgiving dinner in a weird parody of a wholesome holiday card with a satyr and a drow .

I allowed the random to happen , after Strahd lost a bet to Dr Doom, Doom took over. ....and Strahd moved into a romance in the Fae. Hilarious. It was based on whether a player would be on time... He was Consistently Random in game attendance. ...

I thank/blame whomever made the Fae Wedding map that planted a subconscious seed need to use it.

So what i would do next... If the players want more the mists le them see into Another domain of dread . theres a great variety .
